Good Lord... no.
Sorry. No need to be embarrassed. Most collectors mess up in the beginning. At least you are learning. That is better than many who continue to buy junk for decades.
Thanks, I'm trying to learn. Authenticating stuff to an exent interests me. Watches and coins are fun and pretty easy for the ones I know, autographs are maddening so I must learn more.
Believe me when I say I have a PhD from the School of Hard Knocks.
I learned a lot from this one, mainly they will fake anything. I mean even if they were authentic I don't think this piece would be that valuable due to it being in a HOF program none of the signers are even mentioned in.
The thing that really bothers me is I saw them totally different before I got them in hand, then it was just obvious and should have been obvious from the start.
Mike, learning autographs is a never-ending process, and I believe that the most knowledgeable collectors on this site will agree with me.
You either have a passion for it, or you don't.
If you do, that day will arrive when it clicks.
+1 agree! Always learning and always hope to be.
