This is just listed by Gotta Have Rock and Roll. I've never heard of them and this item starts at $6000. Any thoughts as to authenticity and has anyone bought from them before?

Gotta Have it has been around for years and they are known for very high end stuff (although their opening bids or reserves are quite high). I would doubt they'd put up fake stuff as it's too high profile a company.

I like Ed and Pete at Gotta Have It, and they have some great material, but I'm not as comfortable with their music autographs as I used to be. I'd get second opinions before I bid, and ask them for a condition report.

Excellent advice, Steve. I totally agree.

Same with me. Well said, Steve.

Roger Epperson: Want to offer your opinion on this one?

He generally charges when it's up for auction, but it's only $15. Go to www.rogerepperson.com.

It's worth paying the $15.00 for Roger to opine on those autographs.  That's what Roger does for a living.

Numerous collectors on this site (and other sites) lend their expertise and knowledge for free,  but ever once-in-awhile I would like to see some of the people here compensate some of the experts for their time.

this very well could be legit.   I know the Lennon looks strange, but believe it or not, there are some consistencies in the letter formation.  Not sure if I would bid on it, but again, I've seen stranger looking sets than this authenticated by some of the top beatles authenticators.

I know what you mean. That Lennon is way too weird to have been added to a pic with the other three autographs being so typical looking.

$6000 is a lot to take a chance on. But then again, if legit, it could resell for $8000-$10000 with a letter from Frank Caiazzo or Perry Cox

This looks like a good set to me.The crease bothers me more.

Yes this does look ok to me too.  Another odd looking Lennon though but authentic.  It's weird that there have been three odd Lennon's show up in the last couple of months on high end Beatles stuff.  Definately get a report on the creasing, condition means a whole lot of money.
