Hi all

I need an opinion on this autograph on sale on a Norwegian auction by a Norwegian that I`m suspicious are selling a lot of fake autographs. Is this real or a fake?  I am suspicious because it doesn't seem similar to other I've seen.

Tanx,Trond :)

Got an email from qxl now. He had used another name than last time he was banned,

and then was able to pass the security...

Ronny

New mail from them...

Hei
Takk for din mail.

This user has been expelled from QXL. The account has been made with a different name than former accounts and  also different mailadresses that did not imideatly trigger our fraud filter. We are also seeing if he has an account on QXL DK (since we now are the same company) and ban him there as well.

This is just marvelous! QXL has always been very friendly to us forger-fighters, and their response is always very good. Some other sites has been somewhat slower, but I think we have made them aware of certain forgers/forgery sellers so often that they will follow it up as soon as we spot them. :)

Yes, this time they were fast in their respons, but as I said earlier,

I have sent several e-mails about this bastard, and nothing happened.

Yesterday evening I used facts from you, with you as a referense,

and that did the trick :)

New mail from them...

They will now watch carefully, with an open eye, on the autograph

marked at qxl. Sadly they got no expert , but IP adresse and others will help them

to shut out those idiots...

Sounds good :)

Great work guys! And thanks to Qxl for acting fast!

I sent them a mail yesterday with a link to this thread and explained his history and that you Trond and I had contacted them before regarding this forger. And as you guys already know, this morning they replied that they had banned him... :-)

We'll just have to keep our eyes open for this scumbag and his pathetic fakes in the future!

This pathetic forger is back!!

Another member mailed about this hideous forgeries are once again being sold on swedish Tradera. Maybe my norwegian friends can look if he´s also back on QXL and Finn.no?

Anyway, he has a new alias "LadiesMan316" but it´s the same pathetic forgeries being sold. Elvis, Michael Jackson, Curt Cobain, Paul McCartney, Marlon Brando, Apollo 11, Clint Eastwood and the list goes on and on. And the sad part is that someone is once again actually buying this crap as seen here:

http://www.tradera.com/item/340946/219600361/bruce-springsteen-sign...

http://www.tradera.com/item/293303/217399762/clint-eastwood-rare-si...

I´m sure he has sold these forgeries for a profit of many, many tens of thousands of dollars...

Here´s a link to his new account on Tradera:

http://www.tradera.com/profile/items/3730268/ladiesman316

Just look at these ugly ones:

So please, help me report this forger to Tradera so we can get him banned again...

// Jan Cogo

And here´s again a recap of what we previously know about this forger:

1. He has sold pathetic looking fake autographs of Michael Jackson, James Dean, Bob dylan, Marlon Brando, Marilyn Monroe, Star Wars, Paul McCartney and many many more. He has also faked COA:s from UACC dealers and used different accounts to bid on his own auction. I have listed some examples of these fakes at the end of this post!

2. He comes from Oslo, Norway. But this time he claims to be from Halden, a city close to Oslo...

3. He has used these alias/"names":

- hardyboy40

- guitarman78

- world-wrestler

- wrestlemania

- Bent Madsen

- Bent Sumelius

- Vidar Scheen

- starwars4ever

and now:

- LadiesMan316

4. He uses or has used these mailaddresses:

sumeliusbent@yahoo.no

hardyboy@inbox.as

5. Me and Trond have got him banned from:

- Tradera

- FINN.no

- QXL.no

- GiBud.no

and he has previously been banned from eBay too where he was registered under the name Turid Madsen and had this account:

http://www.ebay.com/usr/foeud

6. I tried to be reasonable and explain for him that the autographs he sells are fakes, but all he had to say about that were:

"I´m provoked when you say I sell fake autographs or making them at home. 99% of those I've included is with coa, the remaining 1%, I have written to the celebrity and asked for the autograph. You should be ashamed to make such false allegations"

so that were completly pointless. He just kept on selling these pathetic fakes. He even registered here at AML under a false name (Vidar Scheen) and tried to "convince" everyone that these fakes were actually genuine ones...

If someone else sees any item that you might think come from this forger, please send me or Trond Johansen a PM or reply in this thread!

Thanks!

Here is some of his previously fakes:

and I have saved one of the best for last, take a look at this "beautiful" Grace Kelly... :-)

I would really appreciate if you members can comment on these autographs and help me confirm that they are fakes! That would increase the possibility that Tradera kicks him out again...

Thanks for helping!

The  Garbo  and Grace Kelly are awful.  These are 2 I collect.  Even the ones I am not so familiar with look wrong.

Ditto on Jackson, yuck

Every single one of those is incredibly awful.  He's not even a very good forger.
