Bruce Springsteen Autographs at Rock Star Gallery: Authenticity Check

Bruce Springsteen is Rock Start Gallery's music artist of the month. They have 19 albums, photos and guitars for sale with autographs by Springsteen or the entire E-Street Band.

That's a lot of autographs.

If you know Springsteen's or the band's autographs, let us know what you think of these:

Some of them are good tries. But I think it's very funny when you have "Thanks!" and a sloppy autograph. If you take the time to write something, the autographs usually is nicer than normal also. Not sloppy like in some of these cases.

Just my thoughts......

They all look not genuine to me!

Hey Everyone,

I am seeing Bruce stop and sign more autographs during his last 3 E-Street Band tours, than he ever did during the 80's, and (especially) during the '90's.  He is stopping off as he enters and exits the venues and is even signing at hotels.  I know this, because I have gotten him more times since the 2002 The Rising Tour in L.A., Phoenix, Denver and in Cleveland.  With that though, I have seen a change in his signature because he is signing for quantity at the sacrifice of quality. I have obtained signatures with a very sloppy "B" in Bruce, a less than half last name, and yes, EVEN initials on a tour book (yes, initials).  With all that said, this is not always the case.  I have still obtained some classic/full Springsteen signatures during these last 10 years.  However, as he "gives in and accepts" that fact to sign, please know the quality, at times, is taking a (big) hit.

Here's one I found.

I was born to run away from that one.

That was authenticated by Mike Baker of GAI.

I have many Bruce autographs over the years including two signed in person to me.  These are ALL BAD -- not even close.  Here is one from my collection -- signed in '75 when you could read every letter (ah, the good old days!)
