Paul have you tried the local chapter of the FBI? All it takes is one agent to look into this and open a case. Might be your only hope -- and if they get enough complaints over the years who knows?

Fortunately, I never did any business the coach's corner. But, just a few minutes ago, I googled it and five of the first 7 main links refer to fakes and/or forgeries. One would think that would be enough to stop people from buying their stuff.

You would think. Some people just hate money. Their current auction has a grip of forgeries and some bid up pretty high. It’s crazy.

There was an FBI agent whose name I can't recall - maybe Steve can - willing to take these cases. Long ago - I can't remember. E

Curious, who is the authenticator that is the best in North America?

Hi all,

In the late 1990s I found Coachs Corner Sports Auction in the SCD. I purchased a few mickey mantle auto photos, mantle and dimaggio signed hats, 1996 NYY team signed ball 31 signatures and a Michael Jordan "game used" auto baseball bat. I stopped collecting soon after and just decided it was time to bring some of my items to JSA as they are close to my job in NJ. Well I brought everything I mentioned above, and every single item was FAKE!!! After reading everything off the internet today, I am not shocked but back in the early to late 1990s, there was nothing out there warning about what coaches corner does-selling (KNOWING) FAKE autographs. I found them in the SCD and wish I never picked up a SCD back then. I am on board with anyone else here to try and FINALLY get these jerkoffs in trouble. I work for the government and have multiple contacts at the FBI and the Postal Police-inspector general. I could not read this entire thread as it is pretty lengthy so can someone explain what others have tried before??? Thanks in advance...

Hi Rick,

I’m sorry to hear you got burned. When did you take them to JSA?

From what I heard, SCD knew what was going on with Coach's Corner but they bought so many pages in the paper that they turned a blind eye to it.

People have tried just about everything, Rick. I haven't heard of any success stories.

Do you know what others have tried? local police would be a waste..I am thinking of calling my FBI contact then inspector general. has anyone tried getting a news investigation department involved?

An investigative report was done in 2014 regarding autographs they supplied to a charity fundraiser called The Rusty Ball in Cincinnati.

Rick, would you mind posting images of what JSA failed, along with their rejection letters?

If you want to post ones you didn't have JSA look at you can get opinions at no cost here that will be pretty reliable.

Paul is correct about that.

Back in the day, I made and posted over 100 YouTube videos on them.

How they (Scott Malack and Lee Trythall are still in business, I have no idea.

They are people with no conscience.
