Ebay Seller Actionauctions916 Mickey Mantle Autographed Photo Forgery COA Guaranteed Forensic Authenticators Steve Rocchi Sold For $56.00

Check out another Mickey Mantle forgery listed on Ebay with a COA from GFA (Guaranteed Forensic Authenticators).

This ugly Mickey Mantle forgery on a photograph was listed and sold by Ebay seller Actionauctions916 for $56.00.

This is a "Florida" forgery.

The people who buy and sell this crap have ZERO knowledge of autographs.

This garbage is found at websites like AtAuction.com (formerly AlwaysAtAuction.com), Ubid.com, AAFES, local auctions, charity auctions, estate sales, etc.   Those are the major outlets for the "Florida" forgeries.

These typical Mickey Mantle  "Florida" forgery comes with a COA from Guaranteed Forensic Authenticators (GFA) headed by Steve Rocchi.

GFA (Steve Rocchi) picked up where Chris Morales, Ted Taylor and Drew Max left off after AlwaysAtAuction.com changed their name to AtAuction.com.

AtAuction.com (John House, CEO) Ubid.com (Robert Geras, CEO) and the Military Exchange Auctions continue to sell Mickey Mantle, Ted Williams and Joe DiMaggio forgeries on a weekly basis.

The people who buy this crap, purchase this garbage on the cheap, and then look to flip it on Ebay for a profit.

Ebay sellers Mccauleyjr2006, Stevew6 and Dbvint123 list and sell GFA certed forgeries on a weekly basis.

These forgeries have infected our autograph hobby by the tens of thousands.

We will continue to expose Ebay sellers of GFA (Guaranteed Forensic Authenticators, Steve Rocchi) "certed" forgeries.

Here is that ugly and obvious Mickey Mantle forgery on a photograph listed and sold by Ebay seller Actionauctions916 for $56.00.

Chris, your opinion is not the holy grail of opinions and if you keep calling people out and you are not 100% sure (which you can't be unless you were there when it was signed), then you could be getting yourself in trouble. You might be correct on a lot of these but if you accuse someone who is legit, then what?

I am 100% sure.

Are you telling me the above "Mantle" is authentic?

I will continue to "call out" sellers of forgeries.

I cannot "speak" for anyone else, but I have been fed up with this crap for years and will continue to do what I have always done.

nope, not telling you anything, I don't know if it is or isn't.  however, do you think you have ever been mistaken and called something fake that wasn't?

The CK shakey 2nd M crap AN .  Everybody makes mistakes but this guy rarely would make one on Mantle. I think he lives and breathes to expose this garbage. You should be happy to follow him, chump.

whether he has made mistakes before or not isn't relevant.  This is a 100% no doubt pathetic attempt at a Mantle signature. Fake.   I do not doubt that you are an honest seller, and if you do want to continue to sell autographs, which doesn't appear to be part of your core business, I would stick with items authenticated by PSA, JSA or SGC, especially when dealing with Mantle.  yes they make mistake but they are very good with Mantle and are familiar with the know forgery styles, of which this is one.

I am curious, Mr. Braden, what brought you to this particular thread?

You have no idea what you are talking about R Braden. Chris Williams has called out so many sellers such as this one selling terrible fakes. If you think this is real then perhaps you should start a new hobby!

The odds of Chris making a mistake on Mantle or Jeter, are about as good as getting coaches corner prosecuted for what they do. It just doesnt happen. I have never seen a thread yet, where it has. I imagine if there is ANY question at all, that Chris just doesnt post it.

Trying to sneak a forgery past Mr. Williams is like trying to sneak a sunrise past a rooster.

I am not even the seller of this item and don't know if it is fake or not but by asking a question, I am getting belittled?  I am just asking the question to Chris Williams if he has ever been wrong. Everyone has an opinion, I just feel bad for anyone who is legit cuz this guy obviously spends hours on this and that could have consequences. I checked to see if he replied to my question then I see Ian call me a 'chump'?, dan Gregory telling me to start a new hobby? and more people in this group coming to his rescue, at least one of the posters admitted that everyone makes mistakes, even the big authenticators which is what I was asking to begin with, thank you terrier8HOF. I am not looking to pick a fight with this group as you are obviously a tight group.

Interesting post.  I reopened the discussion you posted yesterday.... want to tell folks about it?  Or should I?
