Here's another Ebay auction where the seller (in this case Ebay seller Kemahkeith518) used a Scoreboard COA to list and sell their Mickey Mantle forgery on a photograph.
The people who buy and seller this crap have ZERO knowledge of autographs and that's why they fall for this scam.
As we all know, it's been commonplace on Ebay for sellers of forgeries to use either an old or modified Scoreboard COA to list and sell their various forgeries.
In this instance, Ebay seller Kemahkeith518 used an old Scoreboard COA to list and sell their ugly Mickey Mantle forgery.
The Mickey Mantle forgery sold by Ebay seller Kemahkeith518 for $102.50.
Ebay continues, as they have for the past twenty years, to profit from the sales of forgeries.
And sellers of forgeries list their garbage on Ebay because they know the suckers and wannabe autograph collectors will buy their crap.
A wannabe autograph collector paid $102.50. for this POS Mickey Mantle forgery sold by Ebay seller kemahkeith518.
The people who buy and sell these crap, have ZERO knowledge of autographs, but are still responsible for infecting our autograph hobby with this garbage and that is why we will continue to expose every Ebay seller who sells this crap!!!
This is one ugly and poorly-executed forgery.
This is NOT a Scoreboard product!!!!
Here is that Mickey Mantle forgery sold by Ebay seller Kemahkeith518 for $102.50.

Wascher, All this said, Who has been put out of business ? Coach's Corner will feed the hobby again with there stuff, thousands of thousands of dollars will be made like in the past. Then again the cycle will begin again and "the collector and members will be helped" and the following month again Coach's Corner will do what they do best. If you call this a success ,then so be it. I think the money Coach's Corner is pulling each month will prove otherwise. We can laugh at the buyers on Coach's Corner and refer to them as Morons ,Wanna be collectors ,etc. I still fail by doing this how that is helping out the collector. Again, I feel we all here have been stiffed one time or another in our collecting .
Since you brought up Keith ,Yes ,he listed a forgery .Can it be honestly said that it was handled in a professional manner as it is said ,this site is to help collectors out.He like others are convicted even before hey are given a chance to explain themselves. He then asked a question of his accuser and it was Tony V, who gave him a answer that was requested by Keith.I will be staightforward, Chris Williams accused Keith and never explained to him why the Mantle signature was bad.To me he owed Keith a explanation after his accusation. Again this is called "Helping the collector out"
Tony answered because he arrrived to the discussion first (more than likely because he tipped him off it was listed here, he does this often--and that's ok too). People have jobs and aren't on here 24/7. Chris DID come in later (more than likely after work) and told him its an every day forgery seen time and time again. What more should he have stated since Tony had already covered it? Repeat what Tony said?
And as for the searches (Coaches ect) showing up on Google - if it helps one person to see that these places sells forgeries and saves someone from buying a pos item, then its helped someone,
And yes this helps the collector out. Do you think that Keith will repeat listing an item like this without making sure its good? Probably not. Do you think he'll be a victim of this kind of scammer again even if its going to a Charity? I'm gonna bet - nope--as I'm sure it was a big surprise to him that this happens all the time. And do you think if he does sell something again with an autograph that if someone finds this discussion--they'll double check with someone to make sure its legit? YUP. So there is THREE examples of how this VERY discussion helps the collector out. I'm finished explaining this.
blaze, you make no sense as usual. It is not Mr. Williams job to explain to anyone why something is a forgery. He is not going into detail and giving away his clues. It doesn't seem like Keith is much of a collector anyway as he stated he's not involved in the hobby. We don't notify people that their items(s) are forgeries cause we either get ignored or "mind your own business" response. What don't you understand about that?
I am reading your reply and you bring up a great fact. "He is not going into detail and giving away his clues" I totally agree with you and I am glad you said this and admitted this for all to read. This is helping the collector out here. Why should Keith be taught anything, by reading what you wrote time helping helping him out would be a waste of time for others here. Again ,this is helping the collector and members out.About Mr. Williams not having to explain anything to Keith ,I guess it is alright for Mr. Williams to accuse him of fraud. I find that interesting because I feel if somebody accused you of fraud then said ,they didn't owe you an explanation, I have a feeling that would not go over well with you.
Why would Mr. Williams give away specific clues on why the Mantle is a forgery? Don't you think forgers would love this type of info to improve their product! What don't you get about that?
Do you think Mr. Williams contacted Keith privately thru a email and explained to Keith how to spot a Bad Mantle in the future? Keith is a member here and should be helped because that is what we are here for. . If people have information for Keith to help him out in the future ,isn't that a reasonable expectation from fellow members here?
Don, go get your IQ checked and stay away from the public
Again I asked you this question. Since Mr. Williams accused Keith of fraud and Wiliams dosen't want to give clues on this site for the forgers.Do you feel Mr. Williams owes to Keith thru a private email an explanation on why he accused him of fraud and how to spot fake Mantles in the future? It is either Yes he does or No he Doesn't. I feel this is a reasonable question.
I'm actually closing this discussion for Keith's sake, the poor guy is more than likely going to be mortified when he opens his emails that Don can't stop using him as an example. And we've exhausted the discussion. Chris can open this again if he wants to add anything.
Please note I edited my comment and added some information Keith sent to me located here:
http://live.autographmagazine.com/forum/topics/ebay-seller-kemahkei...
This is the information on the cancellation of the sale.
Thank you for sending that in Keith, we really appreciate you doing that.

One final reply from me.
I tried for years, and I mean years, to educate and to inform sellers of the forgeries they were selling.
All I ever got was "Mind your own business," "Are you an expert?," etc.
And threats!!!
Every Ebay auction reads "Seller Assumes All Responsibility For This Listing."
Period.
Also, it is very difficult to "explain" to a person who has zero knowledge of autographs why a particular autograph is a forgery.
Unless someone is totally dedicated to learning autographs and acquiring an "eye" for autographs, it is impossible to explain.
I also want to "Thank" Wascher for the great job she does here!!!
Kudos to you, Wascher.
