Your appears a bit atypical in a few ways. See what others think.

Hi Bryan -  imho there's a lack of fluidity & spontaneity in the one you posted above.   The "R" really appears to be precisely drawn....straight lines....not spacious.....without the longer flourish to the upper portion of that letter.  Would also rather see that "o" closed instead of open on the top right portion of it like yours.  The bigger loop in the "e" is also somewhat atypical, I think.

Much appreciated Eric and Eddy!!

There is the "R", the missing loops in the "o" seen so often as well as the "m's" being formed oddly and the slant/form of the "l". Also the other examples appear carefully placed and spaced with regard to the features on the uniform.

Bryan - I am curious....Is the source of this a good one in your opinion?

No history on the seller good or bad, more of a one-off who said it belonged to his grandfather

The reverse, which is said to bear his grandfather's stamp

The second and fourth example I posted are the same signature but different photographs. I wonder if that actually shows a facsimile? It certainly looks like one in the second photograph.

I agree with Eric and Eddy. That was not signed by Rommel IMO.
