that second one is a joke.......if it didn't have a tracks cert, we would all be saying its a terrible fake.  I still question it, tracks or no tracks.

I wouldn't buy any of these, esp the second one.

The first one is potentially legit. Difficult to tell from this pic. The second one is all wrong and I’m pretty sure I know where the third one came from and it’s not George. The third one I’m referring to most likely came from the person it’s addressed to. He did meet George once and I know when and where but this is not George’s handwriting. It looks like the other guys.

Here's a George of mine that looks somewhat similar to the first one.

Hi - what is this on? Again, like the first example on topic it’s difficult to determine from the pic. The paper is interesting and the First G looks fairly good as I’ve seen a few other examples of this but it would have had to have been signed this way for a reason ie (it resembles some checks he signed himself but not checks that were signed by his secretary Lucy). Very unlikely to be Mal, Neil or his mum like this but it’s pretty sloppy for George so he was either rushed, annoyed, interrupted or not interested in  whatever he was signing. It may have interrupted his meditation schedule as that could annoy him. Saying that, it has the right pressure and only a very bad or very good forger would sign this way. Fairly certain it’s real. Where did it come from?

Also the u is missing in the third. The term is Jai Guru Dev. George wouldn’t make that mistake. Jai Guru Dev was also written once to my knowledge by John in his letter to Beth from India in 68.

This “George” is much later well after Lennon’s death but still George wouldn’t have misspelled this phrase/prayer that was sacred to him.

It is on a window card from "A Hard Day's Night". It was collected by an "in-person" collector in the 1980s. He probably had the card signed by the then living Beatles on separate occasions. I am sure that all three signatures are genuine. Here are the other signatures (you need to click on them to see them in full):

Hi I really can’t say. Unfortunately these stories of autograph collectors who get them later are too common and convenient. Did you get dates of each and locations as well as a letter of provenance with a verifiable identity with this? If not, that is tell tale of a problem I am very sorry to say. Were they collected in the US or the UK or both? All of their movements can be traced down nearly to the day so any autographs devoid of specific dates are questionable.
There was an item recently sold for an insane amount of money with provenance from a person who died decades before The Beatles were formed. Because of the ancestral record and the document in question there is no doubt about it.

if you get an exact date such as July 15 & 16 1971 we know that JL and YO had two Grapefruit book signings on those days. Now compare all the known examples and how divergent they are. They can’t all be real and they’re not.

My advice with a questionable piece like yours is to sell it for one that isn’t attached to a strange story that makes no sense and provenance can be verified. You can’t rely on auction houses either because they continue to resell the same stuff that couldn’t possibly be real due to a conflict in factual evidence.

We want to believe something is real because it means a lot to us and we invest our money and emotions in a thing attached to something or someone we love. We are easy targets for that reason.

I can’t see the entire Hard Days night card but I have issues with Paul’s definitely, Ringo most certainly and George’s dating to the 80’s is almost certainly in question.

very sorry xx

I'm pretty confident that these are real. I don't have the signing dates or places but the back story and the three autographs themselves just look and feel "right" to me. I posted them all on this site a while back and nobody had any doubts about the Paul, George and Ringo. The collector matted the card with a Lennon that he bought separately. This is an almost 100% certain fake. You can see the full card and read the back story here:

Hi! Looking at the entire piece I see much more than leans toward authenticity and I don’t know the year of the Lennon sig. but it actually appear real to me if it was done 66-early to mid 69 or between 75 and mid 80. Possibly 70-72 also but I don’t like the red ink. His favorite was blue unless it was a marker but someone may have handed it to him. In viewing the entire display Ringo’s looks much better but I would absolutely need to know where and when for my own satisfaction. Not having that detail is to disconnecting for me personally to attach to it in any meaningful way. I’m sure this isn’t true for everything but I really appreciate the story behind the thing and without the story I can’t enjoy it if that makes sense. That is of course a personal view and we all are here because we love the same band.

The Beatles changed my life and listening to their music makes me happy. I think all Collectors of Beatles autographs, memorabilia etc do it because it brings joy into their world. We all have that in common. I just have a special loathing for the predators out there that take advantage of our natural leaning to seek that joy… that magic feeling xxx

I have no issues with the first one.  regarding the second and third, I would never feel comfortable having those in my collection, unless I got them in person
