Is this real?

Hi. I am interested in purchasing this helmet. I am not sure if they are real 2009 NY Yankees autographs.

I have seen this COA pop up now and then. I have heard that this company issued COAs at Tri-Star promoted public signings in the early to mid 90s. But I can't confirm that. They appear to be out of business so the serial number is of no help.

It also appears that the serial number associated with the COA is on the packaging, not the helmet itself. Even if that company once had a stellar reputation, I'd be concerned that somebody swapped out the item for a forgery. So I would put zero faith in the COA. Let the autographs stand on their own.

I would request a really solid close up picture of the Jeter autograph. There are plenty of people here who are good with Jeter. That's obviously the key autograph on the item. If they give it a thumps up, I'd put much more faith in that than spending time researching the COA.

These are not good, not the main signatures anyway. The Alex Rodriguez stops and starts over with gaps. With the Jeter, every letter that is small and looped goes out at an angle, then stops abruptly, then changes direction going up. Methodically drawn.
