Hi guys, I just bought signed script from ebay, but I found out that few signatures are slightly different than others on ebay. What I found so far:
- Different E in Farrell's signature
- Closed C in Farrell's signature
- "Blessings from MASH" looks differently
- E in Swit's signature, which doesnt appear on other signatures
- "rr" in Farr's signature looks differently - they are usualy just "peaks"
What do you think?

Yes, from ebay member called handl68. Do you know him?
there are other discussions on this site regarding Heroes and Legends
Neither a hero nor legend, IMO.
I'm pretty sure Mike and Jamie changed signatures from their earlier years to the most common used now but those two look especially off even if they were more fancy with their earlier signatures. And it seems the same double "r" used for Harry was used for Farr.
Scripts may be the only place to get all of their signatures on one piece and a forger would probably know that. I'm thinking stay away.
Ask yourself this...
In all likelihood, someone who could obtain a period signed script would be someone associated with the show.
If you accept that premise, what are the odds that no one in the cast would make some sort of dedication to the colleague?
On this, all we see are generic inscriptions with no personalizations.
Things that make you go "hmmmmm...."

Great points, Steve!
Also, if it were someone working with the cast, they would most likely get them all at the same time. From the looks of this, different sharpies (which is usually a key to "fake" cast signed items), the collector would make us think he got Alda, Stiers and Farrell at the time time with same pen, Swit single and Farr, Morgan, Burghoff and Christopher at the same time. Christopher would also write "blessings from father mulcahy" and even as a Mash maniac I'm not 100% sure how to spell it. LOL. So I'm sure this collector had the same issue and just chose to write "mash."
Right... and Mike Farrell is going to add the same generic "Peace" inscription he writes to strangers who send him mail requests? LOL
