Michael Jackson drawings (Miscell inc. 'Historic portraits' and 'Disney characters')

I'm noticing a sudden influx of MJ signed Michael Jackson drawings coming on to the auction market, which seem to share the common themes of either 'portraits of historical figures'  or 'Disney characters'.

Both of these themes are of course recognised from Michaels' drawings both at a young age and later in life, but it is interesting that so many new drawings are being released on to the market at the same time.

Here are some current examples:

What sort of recourse do you think is appropriate if someone purchased a mantle ball with psa that later as proven fake?

Go back to the seller and demand a refund.

Sounds like a Led Zepplin problem there.

But if the seller only originally purchased it because it was accompanied by a psa coa then shouldn't it go back to psa?

Also, from what I have observed over the years from auction houses, if an item is later discovered to be not as advertised, they do issue refunds.

Oh, I have no doubt R&R will be issuing several refunds.

I would love to hear that phone call with Roger.

Wascher>Epperson

^^^^that seems like the conclusion here. Epperson is a paid expert but has been proven wrong by a forum member lol. I think psa should snap her up

Well said Sam!

So shouldn't we be paying Wascher for her 'opinion'?  =)

Nope.... I don't want the job. lol

Someone could take all the information in this thread and write a nice book on the subject of Michael Jackson drawings. I'm sure plenty of people would buy them considering the amount of knowledge in here. The forum is kind of wacky when it comes to posting and reading.

The Estate would put the kaboshy on that long before it got its first page printed.  They're pretty tight about what can be printed about their brand (Michael Jackson).
