Good afternoon everyone. I was hoping to get your feedback on whether or not this signed Mickey Mantle ball could be a forgery. I received it as a present years ago. It is signed on a 1994 World Series baseball (1 year prior to Mickey mantle's death). I have attached pictures including the 2 COAs I received with it. I appreciate any feedback/opinions you could provide-Thanks,

Charles

Bad fake. Sorry.

Worthless COA that we've seen on Ebay dozens of times.

That style Mantle forgery was produced in the thousands.

I have never seen an authentic Mantle,  on a 1994 world series ball.

Neither have I, and I don't know anyone who has.

Unfortunately, without even seeing the signature, there was a 99.9999% chance it was fake based on the 94 World Series ball. As Chris and Terrier mentioned, this is a very common ball for forgers to use and an extremely unlikely candidate for an authentic signature.

Looking at the signature, it confirms it is a common fake style known as a "banana Mantle" after the long narrow banana-like loops under the Ms.

Unfortunately, 100% fake.
