Original Lynyrd Skynyrd drummer Artimus Pyle signed drumhead with hand-drawn artwork

One of the coolest things I've seen in quite a while.  Mr. Pyle is the last surviving member of the classic Skynyrd lineup who also survived the plane crash that claimed the lives of lead singer Ronnie Van Zant and others.

It is pretty fricken cool. But think I am actually gonna order one of these. $50 cheaper and has a logo. Thank you for posting this even though I am not ordering the item you posted, really appreciated.

I appreciate this and ordered BUT Bob Burns was the original drummer of Lynyrd Skynyrd, not Artimus! Sadly,  there are no surviving members left of the original lineup.  Again, really appreciate this but as a huge Skynyrd fan,  I have to correct this . Peace ✌

You got me and I know better! Burns was with Skynyrd for maybe 10 years and had some kind of breakdown and had to quit the band. Pyle was brought in and I believe recorded three albums. Pyle was definitely in the classic lineup (not the current tribute band) but was not a founding member. Gary Rossington was the last founding member.

Is the FYFTY boxset with their autographs any good? I'm thinking of pre-ordering it but dunno if I'll like the music.

Thanks, got one.

Sold Out - Picked one up but had a hard time convincing my wife I “needed” this after meeting Mr Pyle after a show in the Pittsburgh area in August. Here’s the drumhead he signed for me:

FYFTY boxset opinions please!!!

Awesome drumhead by the way

I’m not caught up on the box set but I do know Gary Rossington would be the only auto worth having on the litho. If he’s included on the signed litho it would be a good buy.

As for the cds, it appears to me to be a general greatest hits compilation. Nothing really stands out to me in the description.
