Yes wh smiths cancelled my order. I already cancelled amazon thinking ismiths was a sure bet.

Does anyone in this thread actually have a secured order still ?

On No Alibis website

Il almost certain that is a mock up , photoshopped onto the cover , the description says signed and number so this will be on the title page , as he’s not signed them yet but they want to show a signed copy they have added it there .

well I hope the ones he does sign look a lot better than that sig

Yeah it does say mockup at the bottom of their jpeg... As michelle says let's hope it's alot better than that, not keen lol

I would expect that these will be signed exactly like the lyrics book given the same numbering and deluxe packaging etc.

Agree , why  would the publisher who made the last one totally change standard layout ?

I was on a list from one Indie bookseller auctioning off their copy. Blind high bid was $8.5K (supposedly). Bidders on list now have 24 hrs. to outbid.

You could damn near get all 4 for that price, no? Just…wow.

I was first in line for Boulder Books’ signed copy. They quoted me $3k the day I called. Now I just received this…

Hard Pass.

Good afternoon,

Thank you for your interest in the signed edition of 1964 by Paul McCartney. After much deliberation and discussions with other bookstores and people in publishing, we are setting the price of our one copy of the book at $8,000. We arrived at that price based on what we heard from other stores around the country.

If you are still interested in purchasing this book for $8,000, please respond to this email. If more than one person is interested, we will do a blind drawing on June 13 (the book's release date) to determine who will get the copy.

We thank you for your enthusiasm and participation in this process.

Sincerely,

Boulder Book Store

Lol wow

Jeepers creepers. Hard pass, indeed!
