Garry King is well liked by some but I see a big problem with some of the items I see on his site.  I'm not referring to Kenny Baker and other small bits but rather the large $$ music items.

Dealers in the UK might not be aware of current music item that they offer for sale.  In another thread several autographs from Autografica were deemed fake.  The items were Clint Eastwood, Charlton Heston and Harrison Ford.

He might not know there is a problem.

Just to clear this up Garry does not testify against his competition but against blatant forgers. Massive difference!!!

Why are you still the only person on here that wont post using their real name?

I personally wouldnt even label the whole AFTAL board  with the same brush here. My own personal opinion is that Garry's hands have been tied some what here with regards to what action they have decided to take as an organisation

What I am going to do here is post MJ's signatures that I know for a fact that were signed in person for friends of mine who gave me these as exemplars.  These Pickguards, which I Garry some to compare with, were all gotten in the last few months before his death.  Here are 18 examples of MJ's autograph in and around the time that Adrian said he got his.  Now these do vary but are still quite consistant.  Please note that on nearly EVERYONE of these the "M" in "MIchael" is the tallest letter by far than the others.  Please also note that in his last name EVERY example has at least a couple "humps" after the "J" but most have many "humps".  In five of these he has made the "h" in Michael.  If you will notice that on EVERY Adrian signed photo the "M" is either the same size or smaller then the other letters.  How could this be overlooked by AFTAL board members?  Also note that almost every single Adrian signed photo there are no "humps" on the last name!  Another oversite I guess.  I also have yet to find an example of Adrians photos where he made the "h" in Michael.  I show just here that he did it about a third of the time.  One other quick note that Michael nearly always started the "i" in Michael inside the "M" not Adrians though, they all start on the outside.  This is just a small quick sampling that I picked out for you til mill over while I get caught up.  I would love to hear the explanation from AFTAL board members on this.

Here's a few more to ponder over

Where did these come from?

These all came from three different friends of mine that chase autographs for a living.  The pickguards all came from the same guy, he has a large crew that works with him.

Now here are a few from Adrian that he himself sent directly to my friend in Houston.  Why is it that NONE of these or the others on this blog have the charactaristics of the ones my friends got in person?

Are these the exemplars that you also based Mike's Thriller album on?

I don't know what "Thiller" album you are speaking of?  I have probably seen 200 in last year alone.

Mike's referring to this one:

I don't think I need to say a word again about this piece.  It looks too contrived and way to slow.

Here is another of the combo MJ/Slash photos.  Looks like he needs to work on his Slash autograph, I have added a couple authentic ones above it to compare with.  The GnR 45 sleeve I got in person myself last year when he toured with Ozzy.  Note the way he wrote the date.  Now if the Slash isn't right why would the MJ be right?  Correct, it's not.

Just so you know, I picked out the VERY best looking ones that came from Adrian as the really crappy ones were already posted here.  As you can see in these he fixed the last name up a bit but still consistant in all the other mistakes.
