It is suggested in the following discussion that Simon Parr’s Auctions are submitting fraudulent ‘Ripoff Reports’ masquerading as being authored by others. Compelling evidence for this activity is detailed below:
A while back a report showed up online on the ‘Ripoff Reports’ website which criticized the AML (Autograph Magazine Live) Forum. We've shortened the extract of these reports and bolded in red the MISSPELLED last name of Steve Cyrkin:
"....... Lizzie, Ballroom, Steve Cryken suggested these drawings weren't real, even though Roger Epperson has supplied 30 plus coa's for drawings sold at at least 3 auction houses...... (cont)
"...STEVE CRYKEN YOUR SITE IS A JOKE. I have bagged bargains of a life time."
Simon Parr was at one point a member of our forum, his spelling of Steve's last name:
And this:
The only person that has been professional on here so far is Steve Cryken and Pharasant.
Fast forward to a month or so ago, another new ripoff report appeared, this one going after Steve as well as Garry King in the UK. Again, it included the same misspellings of Steve's last name.
"Steve Cryken of live autograph magazine sold these directly to me and he stated that Gary King of, garyking.co.uk AFTAL sold them to him..... (continued on the site)
"I am most annoyed and will take Mr King and Mr Cryken to court for ripping me off."
All of the reports are obviously written by the Simon Parr's Auctions owner. It seems that when the "auction house" is discussed for its forgeries on our forum, they retaliate by creating fake ripoff reports, without using their own name as the writer. That report was purportedly written by "Andrew Salmon", who is a UK authenticator.
This past week Parr was once again being discussed on our forum and once again a new ‘ripoff report’ appeared. This time Steve's name is not included, but the writer penned the ripoff report in Wascher's name. Wascher did not write this report - we asked.
Leading up to this report, a possible buyer of items from Parr's auctions was reselling the items on eBay. Those items were discussed on our forum. "Mack", a newer member on AML had come to our forum to dispute that they were forgeries. After he learned of Parr's shady sales, we presume that he (Mack) asked for his money back and Parr retaliated against him by creating that 'ripoff report'.
Unbelievable.
Does anyone actually take Ripoff Report seriously?
Thanks for posting this Lizzie.
He's been on our forum over six times now under different names, lying about everything he posts, so it does not surprise me.
Thanks for adding the info on "mine". I have never, nor will I ever write anything on Ripoff.
And to answer Rich, I have spoken to people on our forum privately - suggesting someone like RE for music... they Google him and walk away. Its damaging and can cause loss of business revenue. Nobody should have this happen anonymously or under fake names that you cannot protect yourself. People should be accountable for the words they write.

Filing bogus complaints on these anonymous ripoff sites is on page one of the crooked sellers and forger's playbook. It happens to just about anyone who exposes the vermin of the forgery industry -- those who forge, sell and mass-authenticate fakes. It's the only way these bottom-feeders can strike back at those who are disrupting their scams.
Thankfully, most astute people take them with a grain of salt.
I call them cowards!!!
I have to wonder if Garry got involved in calling out his crap... I mean Garry's not involved much on our site so I would suspect Parr's getting called out on home turf.
Good for Garry if he did.
Simon Parr Auctions has the most fakes I've ever seen on an auction site with the possible exception of Coaches Corner. It does not hurt to file bad reviews against him on "Ripoff Report" because those results do come up in Google Searches. (Which unfortunately does hurt legitimate sites like this one when the internet trolls start posting fake stuff). Remind you of Trump's Russian friends anyone?
I have just became aware of that bogus ripoff report about me. I have made many requests for a refund and he has refused. I even made a police complaint in the UK and they did nothing. Probably because his COA con-man is Andrew Salmon, an ex-cop. I threatened to expose Parr and get him kicked off of eBay and on his other business sites and he decided to make this preemptive strike. He caused eBay to shut down sales of all memorabilia on my son's account by making the same bogus allegations. A real Jerk, con-man and Sociopath! I shall rebut that report soon. Thanks for the heads up.
