It has genuine characteristics in "Eric" but it's above my paygrade. Never seen one like it.

It looks good to me, just messy. That being said, I've gotten some autographs from RR Auctions that have been proven to be fake (but they gave me my money back each time, so that worked)

Ditto - never seen anything like that before but I wouldn't rule it out for that reason. If it is contemporary then I would guess there are not too many examples available for comparison. The John Mayall does not appeal to me - his is a lovely signature and that example is all over the place BUT - if it is contemporary who knows what substances had been imbibed that evening!
Email Sue Recks at R&R and ask her for the provenance. If there isn't any then I would be cautious.

It is a bit messy, but looks a real vintage signature to me.
