There could definitely be differences as these are different publications by different publishers. Usually they will state if it is a bookplate, but May is still a long while away. If there's a production hiccup you never know what you end up with.
1. The UK vs US book often look different.
Sometimes the differences are small, sometimes the cover looks very different. There could be store-specific differences too, like colored edges. Just look at the cover art for this book; the US edition is largely blue/white where the UK edition is brown/ gold.
2. If it is a signed (tipped-in) page, then that page could look different.
For example the Will Smith memoir, one edition had a blank page with signature, the other had a line of text on that page (saying something like "special signed edition").
3. The autograph can look different due to use of different pens. The different pages come from different publishers so might not be signed at the same time.
4. Authenticity issues. In some cases one edition can be an authentic autograph while the other turns out to be autopen.
Thanks a lot for your detailed information and examples! :)
Thanks, with the low Euro and Pound this will be a bit cheaper.
