that is showing here.
A fan's story:
Yes! It seems I got up after the concert the night before, threw myself into a borrowed ride with literally 2 minutes notice, no ticket and no way home, grabbed the latest Wall documentary/concert ready from yesterday's non-signing event, withstood a deluge of rain on the line...but managed to get the DVD signed large in silver w/o getting it wet! The 12" x 12" 2017 NA tour flat seemed a truly bad choice in the rain - the DVD had a plastic bag so that was that. I said "Thank you, Mr. Waters" 3 times, but he was raving and drooling about eBay. Someone, after me, in a German bucket hat orange and black, tried to get two (he had the first signed - DSOTM LP) and Waters just drove off because there was a scuffle. Hat guy was thrown to the ground. This guy ruined it for the rest of those waiting. He laughed about it - said he was covered hotel and travel. Maybe Waters signed 12 all together. Kind vendors came out with tissues to help us dry our graphs. They left the doors open so we could hear sound-checks! I then waited for it to dry and started working on getting home safely (I did thank goodness). Got to hear a good chunk of sound checks too - Breathe, Welcome to the Machine and some bits of others. I din't think I will ever hear him again.
This DVD cover at 7" x 10" will go nicely alongside my signed Gilmour DVD!
The Wall 2014 is a British concert film by Roger Waters. Directed by Waters and Sean Evans, it captures performances of Waters' live tour. It premiered in the Special Presentations section of the 2014 Toronto International Film Festival. At the premiere, directors Roger Waters and Sean Evans were in attendance and received praise from those in the audience that night. Evans directed The Last Refugee video as well. This tour, The Wall 2010-2013, remains the largest and most profitable tour by ANY solo artist, ever.
Decent contrast, especially compared to the 2 LP's I have seen of this signed in gold. Good placement - large - I like how the signature plays off the spotlights in the image. Signed on a good bias too. Not overpowering but visible still. Signed with a good quality DecoColor silver paint pen (no sticking mess).
I am not going to get into another discussion of the "value" of various "qualities", suffice to say I collect licensed products signed (LP, Cassette, CD, DVD, promotional items, tickets etc.). This item was chosen to be signed with all that in mind, along with my own preferences such as the signature and item chosen being of the same date or close etc (and the weather). This DVD was only released in 2014/15, so this item provides a date window AS WELL.
Another reason I chose this is because Waters has stated he won't sign any photographs of himself ANYMORE. Careful study of this cover... reveals a portrait ;) Hehe.…
can't tell you how desperately I wanted one of these but could not afford it at the time.
Flash forward to today, I have some money saved up and I saw one of these pieces on Ebay.
But before I drop 1.5 grand on this thing, I figured someone on here might be able to help me see if these signatures are legit.
Many Thanks in Advance
This is the listing:

///////////////////
These are the initial questions I asked the guy:
Hello, due to your feedback rating I see you are new to eBay. I am interested in this piece but I have a few questions. First of all, where/when were these signatures obtained? Did you obtain them yourself? If not where did you get this piece from? Who has issued the COA? Can I look it up online for myself? Item says 31x44 including the frame. I'm assuming that the poster itself is a 27 x 40 original theatrical poster correct? I cannot consider purchase of this item without these details.
/////////////////////////
This was his response
Hello: Thanks for your interest in one of our items. The majority of movie posters from current films (1990s and up) are obtained in signing sessions. Movie actors have a contractual obligation with the studios or their agents to do signings. It’s part of their deal. So don’t expect there to be a great story behind the signings of movie posters. And if there were a great story behind it, that poster would go for thousands of dollars (i.e. a poster signed after an Academy Awards after party, etc…) We know that this particular poster was signed on set, and there must be at least 100 or so in circulation. The dimensions of the poster include the frame, but the poster itself is standard theatrical 27x40. Like any other antique/collectible dealer, we obtain our posters from known distributors in the USA and the certificate is issued by Antiquities of California. You can visit Antiquities at www.antiquitiesca.com to verify their legitimacy. Antiquities of California and Antiquities of Las Vegas have been in this business for over 30 years. Their shop in Vegas is in the Caesars Forum Shops, just to add some extra credibility. The numbered decal is issued at the time of framing and will be logged after framing. Once you obtain the poster, any 3rd party assessor or authenticator can access their database to get confirmation of it’s authenticity. To further assure your buyer protection, we take returns of up to 30 days to give you enough time to do your due diligence if needed. And you are fully protected under eBay and Paypal.
/////////////////
And this was my response to that. Have no received a reply yet.
Hi thanks for your response. I will look into this further but for now I just have one additional question. You said this poster was signed on set. The theatrical posters were not designed and printed until well after principal photography was completed. Additionally, George Lucas famously did NOT visit the set of "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" at all. Can you please clarify this?

ered Dealer RD245 based in Barrow in the UK
I have Collected Autographs for 35 years and been a UACC Registered Dealer and member for over 20 years.
I have collected Autographs in the UK, Europe and NYC, Texas and Los Angeles.
I have worked and lived in London for 9 years. I have collected there in my free time and know a lot of Collectors and Dealers in UK and Worldwide.
I have collected with Roger Epperson in Texas and in London and we are good mates.
I also know Garry King and he is a friend also.
I also know a few Registered Dealers of AFTAL, but I chose at an early stage of their formation not to join their association. My reasons were personal at the time and they have not changed recently. Especially with happenings over this affair I beleive I made a good decision.
I have contacted Roger Epperson, Garry King and Steve Cyrkin recently with information that I feel relevant to what has gone on with reference to the Michael Jackson autographs in question.
I also feel I need to state a few points for other readers of this Forum
Jason Thanos has stated he is one of a very few ‘ IN PERSON’ Dealer / Collectors in UK
to which I must disagree...............
I fall into this genre Jason, and I have to state that I believe there are over 25 Dealer / Collectors in UK that collect Autographs themselves and sell via the usual channels.
I can name them if you want me to Jason ?
The reason I collect In Person is to help and aid authentication purposes. I could pay people to collect for me but I cannot sell In Person signatures to Collectors if I have not collected the item myself !
I also believe this is why other Dealers do this and it also gives the Dealer the knowledge of other Collectors out there, and perhaps they can also meet collectors who are selling the gains.
I have purchased items on my travels from Collectors at the point of signing. It’s a good method of buying authentic signatures. You know the item is real as you stood next to the guy as he got his items signed.
Recently the UK has gone crazy for Autographs, Collectors sell to Dealers and Collectors sell on eBay etc. The market is now flooded with low priced Autographs of celebrities in all fields, Music Film TV and Sport etc
Any Film star that performs in UK Theatre in London is swamped with requests for autographs. The same Collectors and Dealers go every night and have collecting competitions for how many you can get in one night !
Any celebrity that sets foot on the streets of London is attacked by numerous Autograph collectors armed with felt pens and photographs.
The more items on the Market lowers the price! Doesn’t it? Simple Maths
I mentioned this to another UK Collector / Dealer recently and he laughed. He had 20 Jason Statham’s collected at one Film premier by himself and his workers.
I stated did he not think un leashing all of them on the market in one go reduces the price, and he said no the more the better !
False economy in my opinion, as I know 2 UK Dealers that folded their business recently as they had far too much stock and could not sell
So this brings us to the Rarer and Collectible items like Michael Jackson, Paul McCartney, Harrison Ford, Robert De Niro netc. These people don’t sign as much and are not as accessible and are very collectible and command higher prices.
So this means rarity value and more $$$$$$ or ££££££££
London and the UK goes crazy for this type of Celebrity. Collectors and dealers chase the vehicles, fight each other, double cross their friends ! Its anything goes for the chance of a signature or photograph with that celebrity.
Therefore it’s obvious that forgery will occur to make profits and unknowing collectors will buy what they see as a good deal or a fair price for a rare item.
eBay if full of fake McCartney’s and Jacksons etc and eBay does not seem to want to control the fakes, and not only from the UK, this is a worldwide problem.
Thank God we have people on this planet that are prepared to research these items and help other collectors / dealers.
Roger Epperson has researched for years now and is very high in the field of Music signatures. I have asked him in the past for his opinion on items that I was unsure about and I value his opinion. He taught me secrets of spotting Fake Elvis Presley Autographs to which helped me numerous times.
Garry King has researched also in various fields, he has taught collectors / dealers also. But not Music which is unfortunate on this occasion with the Jacksons.
Collectors have the opportunity to get an opinion on any Autograph if they are unsure.
Many people offer Authentication services. I offer a free service for Authenticity but I can only quote on Celebrities I have obtained myself, I will not make any judgment on anyone I have never obtained personally
So I now come to the Authenticity of the Jacksons in question from Adrian Longden, I cannot doubt Adrian met Jackson as I know him and I collected with him over a period of 5 years. The last time we collected together was over 5 years ago in England and LA.
He has travelled all over the World collecting and has the proof. When I knew him very well he was a good reliable collector
I have not seen him in England for over 4 years, since I saw him at Jack Nicholson’s London hotel in 2008. I believe he collected in NYC and LA since 2007
Can I state I heard from LA collectors that Jackson was signing big time in LA, and I purchased 8 items from one LA collector at that time. They were $80 each at that time 2 months before his death.
There were many collectors following him around demand was high
What I also heard was that Jackson’s security guards were taking items off collectors and taking them inside the Hotel / locations for Jackson to sign because of the high demand
Now this is Risky……… as most Dealers know the Beatles stories from the 1963 – 64 UK tours. Items sent into the band were signed by Roadies and sometimes in the hand of a Beatle signing for another Beatle
Could this have occurred with these items Adrian has passed around for sale to Dealers via Dominic ?
Was Adrian and other collectors in LA getting that many signed it did not matter how they were obtained ?
They assumed all were Authentic? All items passed into Jackson and returned signed were real…….. But unfortunately they are not !
I believe they are not genuine and Roger and Steve have gone out of their way to prove this is the case on this Forum
The examples Roger has provided prove to me that the examples sold by Adrian are not genuine. This is so disappointing for me and I must say I feel sorry for Garry King as he has trusted the word of another Dealer as Authenticity in his offering of these items for sale.
What I can state from what I have read on this forum is thing need to change.....................
Can I propose these points……………………
A Dealer who advertises ‘Collected In Person’ must only list the item if it was collected himself
Wherever in the World you sell your Autographs, surely a sign of a good Autograph Dealer is to know his stuff!
He must be able to provide Signing details i.e. Date / Venue etc.
COA if issued should provide these details ?
If not obtained In person he should provide all other relevant details that he knows about the item, including the person who obtained the item
This should be the Standard from now on guys !
How does this sound ?
Also as I stated I know some good dealers on AFTAL, some I call friends. I will be amazed at their reactions to what has gone on regarding this Forum recently
If I had purchased any item or items from any Collector or Dealer and any kind of suspicion was cast I would not be happy having these items in my possession.
I would be looking to return these items to my supplier for a full refund and if any sold onwards I would have to take the loss and refund the purchaser
I am hoping that something good comes out of this and I look forward to keeping you informed in the future of anything I hear this side of the pond in the UK
If anyone has any comments please advise, I am eager to learn more and want to provide a good service to anyone who wants to buy items from me in the future
Thanks for your time guys

il, the answer is actually yes. You have to watch out as their are many celebs who use secretaries, preprints, and autopens, but typically you can find out who those people are by doing some searching online. If your considering going through the mail (TTM), i would recommend a site like startiger.com. It provides a database full of addresses for most all celebs, and its updated constantly so that you can tell who is signing good and who isnt, as well as who is sending preprints, etc. But celebs will sign TTM, but the bigger celeb, the more difficult it can be.
If your going for hollywood autographs TTM, i would suggest Production Weekly. It is expensive, but it gives you a weekly list of all the movies, series, etc. being filmed. This list also includes addresses for the movie shoots, studios, production offices etc. This is really the best way to get to the big celebs. It typically takes alot of trying with the bigger celebs but you can really get some good ones. In my time, by sending to production offices i obtained legit signatures from: Demi Moore, Robert DeNiro, Keanu Reeves, and Angelina JL just to name a few. Their is also the possibility of sending to stars on broadway which is very effective. But i really dont go for hollywood anymore as i am more interested in music.
Music presents its own set of challenges, but i think its actually more productive than going for hollywood. I have received some huge names TTM from musicians and it just takes patience and persistence. With the bigger musicians, if your sending TTM, you typically are going to have to send to the venue at where they are playing. So if they were playing at the Verizon Wireless center in cleveland ohio, you would send your letter to the address of the verizon wireless center, with a note on the front asking them to please give to the band you are after. Many of these venues forward the mail and are pretty good about it. So i hope that helps, but i can always answer anything else you are curious about as far as TTM signatures.
As far as sites, here are some sites that are top knotch.
Premier Collectibles--------They sell signed books
FYE---------When you are at their homepage, if you click on the tab specials, you will see a list of autographed CD booklets that they have. Today they put up signed copies of Rihanna's upcoming CD. Unfortunately FYE doesnt update when they sell out of an item, so if you dont buy within the first day or so, you may not get the booklet. And i imagine the Rihanna booklets have long since sold out.
Newberry Comics--------One of my favorites. They offer singed CD booklets from all kinds of artists. These are part of promotions and typically run neck and neck with FYE. Newberrry however is better in the since that they have many more names, and they update their system so when a booklet runs out, they say so. But they have a huge amount of signed booklets for sale at great prices. And this is a site you want to check in on daily, along with FYE. As the really big names sell out quick, such as Rihanna.
AutographSale.net------Run by a member of this site, Grieg McArthur. I have bought several items from him and they are really awesome. He is very knowledgeable and has some great items.
SignedSealedDelivered-----------Run by a member of this site, Roger Epperson. Roger is considered the best music authenticator in the world, and you can bet that anything for sale their is legit. He also is JSA's music authenticator.
Goldenstate Autographs--------Run by a very good dealer, Caleb. His items are top knotch and at great prices. A mix of music and hollywood.
AutographPros........Specializing in music, and run by a member of this site, the items are top knotch. Most are fully certed by PSA and some have video proof.
Autographworld----A great weekly auction site. They have mainly hollywood, but some music. The prices are normally great and the authenticity is good. But as with most, mistakes do occur their.
Dealers on ebay:
JG Autographs-------Hollywood and Music. They sell great stuff and have weekly sells where you can get unbelievable deals. They are top knotch and one of the best on ebay.
BP Autographs (bob priol)----Sells mainly music, and his little inventory, but the items are legit.
I hope this helps to start out. Im sure others can add some good sites for you. Their may be threads started on here already concerning which dealers to trust, so you may want to search for them. I know their is one on ebay dealers i have seen before, and im pretty sure their is one for online dealers too. Good luck though, and if i can help you anymore just let me know.

I received the following email with link from a frustrated fan:
timothybschmitwhywereyourude.vpweb.com
If you are tired of the celebs that think they are gods gift to mankind, and tired of the rude way they treat fans that are simply asking for an autograph, then do what I did with such an encounter with Timothy B. Schmit and POST it. Enough is enough. Celebs need to work with fans and not encourage such encounters as what we are all currently viewing these past few days with John Cameron.
STOP THE MADNESS
Cheers,
Stephen Duncan
ok...heres my response:
i read all post from collector/fanatics crying about getting yelled at by celebs who wont sign or will only sign one with an attitude. All you "fans" seem a little dense in your thinking. just like all autograph collectors who stalk for a graph, you are in an "AUTOGRAPH COMA"!. i am also a NYC based collector for 28 years. i was also an ex-graph hound who went out in the field to harvest graphs for dealers. i left the biz side of it 12 yrs ago after finding that the forgery situation got way out of control so i got out. i am also a performer.i have had tons of encounters with celebs over the years.some good and some bad. here is the #1 thing all graphers will not get thru there heads.
#1 NO ONE OWES YOU AN AUTOGRAPH! NO ONE!
getting and autograph is like gambling...sometimes you win ...more times not. YOU CANT GET PISSED OR UPSET IF YOU GET ATTITUDE OR YELLED AT! YOU ARE IN SOMEONES FACE WITH A SHARPIE AND ITEMS TO GET SIGNED.....GET IT?
#2.... NO CELEB (NOR you or I FOR THAT MATTER) WANTS STRANGERS WALKING UP TO THEM every moment of the day AND ASKING FOR A HANDOUT (AUTOGRAPHS HAVE CLEAR AND OBVIOUS $$$ VALUE). IN THIS POST 9-11 WORLD, YOU MIGHT AS WELL BE ASKING THEM FOR CASH. celebs are paid to do signings and understand its a biz! A FAN ONLY WANTS ONE GRAPH!!....ANYTHING MORE IS AN OBSESSION OR A SELLING VENTURE! Why does anyone need to have a celeb sign things over and over?
#3 ..because a person is famous for doing what they do does not mean they owe you or the public anything beyond the work they do.
#4 Its the right of the celeb to sign or blow you off.
ESPECIALLY IF YOUR AT THERE JOB SITE! you must see things from the celeb side of all this. Remember,if you are standing in the street with items and sharpies then your nothing but a creepy obsessed stranger to the celeb. not a fan. we live in a danger filled world now. just ask yoko ono. There are places for asking for a graph that are ok like public events, shows, backstage doors, premiers, partys and such. It still does not mean anyone owes you a graph. stalking people while they are at dinner , arriving at airports, working on their job sites or on family outings amounts to nothing but stalking and invasion of privacy. Most autograph hounds are obsessed people to begin with and loose perspective once they get fixated on "GETTING THAT GRAPH". obsession is the fuel that drives us to collect or hoard graphs or whatever you need to collect."FAN" is short for "FANATIC". Anyone who is chasing a celeb with items and sharpie in hand from location to location is an out of control fanatic/stalker. Me included. i have since changed my collecting habits . its gotta be very scary and very annoying to be hit on all the time by strangers. A persons fame or notariety does not mean they owe us autographs! clearly the obsessed fanatic Mr. Duncan's TBS encounter is sad because even though he invaded the grumpy TBS's workspace by talking his way in backstage to some club stagehand, he feels that now he was invited ! that is madness and scary too! understand this: backstage is the work place and jobsite of the performer. backstage is private, the only person that can invite you there is the artist themselves or his managment staff. mr duncan was not invited backstage by anyone of importance, made no arrangments to see Mr. TBS and was trespassing and unauthorized to be in that place. he talked his way in. So of course mr duncan got blasted even before he said a word. he was in a place he did not belong. the performers space. im sure mr duncan will just never get this at all. three items in hand no less! is this guy clueless? no....he is in an autograph hound coma! he cant see anything beyond his need to get his crap signed. a fan would have drove that far in the rain to pay for a ticket and see & support the artist performance. Timothy B. Schmit. the poor guy TOLD HIM "ONLY ONE GRAPH"... but one graph was not good enough for this greedy and deaf collector. he needed 2 more! take take take! if mr duncan was such a fan, maybe you bring your favorite singer a gift? some performers are at there worst from sound check right up until they walk on stage. this is the time they must transform from the regular person they are to the superstar the real fans are paying to see that night. its all very "in the head" and it is always best to stay away and give them space at that time.. Mr.schmit was at his job and was working on his job site. dont you get it? Of course not. you invaded his job site, his work space, and you have no idea if he was in a bad mood at that moment because something wasnt right on his gig. to have someone who was trespassing start hitting you up for a 3 autograph handout at your job can be a pain in the butt. then, this "fanatic" spends a ton of time and energy to post a website to trash the guy even after you got the one graph.....but , oh yeah ....you didnt get 3 graphs so now mr, Schmitt is a monster!!! same with Mr. Cameron....Mayer is correct.... Fanatic stalking of celebs by TMZ cameras and fanatic graphers/dealers is at an all time high and i for one would be pretty upset by it if it was me who were being stalked from the moment i wake till the moment i sleep. Graph-Fanatics dont care nor does it even cross their celeb obsessed minds that they are invading and asking for handouts.. Times have changed. Autographs are big money biz now. its no longer the 1930's when an autograph was just for fun. Collectors think that because a person is a celeb that they owe them a graph! this is just not the case and collector/dealer/ fanatics just wont or cant accept this simple truth. We are lucky that celebs stop to sign anything for us at all. perhaps if mr duncan drove 3 hours in the rain to buy a ticket, saw the show, then went backstage after the show, gift in hand, his 3 important items would be signed with a smile! wake up and smell the sharpie!
PS... keep it coming!

to get into long chats & keep replying or adding to anymore comments left after this. I don't have the time to sit on a computer all day on forums giving opinions arguing as I'm busy on the streets getting the items that so many people who make these comments on forums aren't doing themselves. I'm putting this to bed now & stating the facts. I do think it's good that people try & help others who maybe aren't that clued up & are a bit vulnerable to buying fakes but not try & harm or be as concrete on damaging other peoples reputations.
I have personally spent the last 15+ years travelling the world literally the world getting everybody you can name past & present. How many people can say they collect up & down the UK across Europe, Over to the USA East & West, Barbados, Canada & more. And by the way know people in all & more these places. The reason why when I read these forums I get angry is not because I'm always right or that some may say why would you get mad if your not wrong is because the vast majority of people questioning you are not half as experienced as they make out they are. Some are & granted I would welcome their views constructively because in my years I've seen how many celebrities autographs have varied over time have changed, different from signing in the rain to the sun, from signing in the UK to in the States, i.e people like Jagger & McCartney, I used to know Jaggers driver & would get him very often & also get Paul frequently at his office, how these 2 guys were different to get across in the states, how when celebrities change security or assistants altar how many they sign, i.e Depp since he permanently got Judge as his Security, anyone who collects will know. How it matters weather you get them at a hotel or through a car window or at a premier or at their houses, or at a traffic light! whether they think your a dealer maybe? I've heard mad things from people about certain pens or colours as well. Nick Mason will sign a Drum head but not a card? have you seen how many guitars you can buy on the net or eBay by legends I don't believe sign them like Edge & Clapton etc.. yet there on there, how do these people get away with it? So many different factors to what signature you get that day if you get one, let alone just whether the plain old what mood there in themselves. I'd know this as I've seen all these different situations many times.
With regards to the Macca and the Kylie on this page they are not the best signatures but then again I've had a lot worse on a few occasions. Even the best or more regular of signatures can sometimes altar badly. The Mj's are real because I like a few others like Victor, Canada, Lisle, Adam & a few more without mentioning full names spent the last year of Jacko's life doing him daily & these were obtain in person by me. I personally obtained over 200 signatures from him in that window.
Now some may say no way b******* impossible but were they there? because those of us who were actually outside his house, outside the medical clinic, In the car chases, at the antiques stores, the book shops, the lights, the original dance auditions, the Ed Hardy shop, the Bev Hilton & the Bel air hotel & all the other many locations saw each other obtain large numbers of graphs. I had days of getting double figures often. When he signed he racked & not many people would know to what extent & this was a period only a few of us capitalized on. I have pictures with & video & memorable experiences of Mj. Do you know the names of his 3 main security? Do they know yours & would recognize you if they saw you? do you know the French fans & other foreign fans who'd regularly travel to LA to see him? Do they know you? Would you know the registration plates on his trucks or what colour they were or model? his address or various where abouts in endless places? Did he personally sign things to your name?? I can answer yes to all off them. I feel like it's wrong replying to these threads but then some may say you look guilty if you don't reply & some may say you look bad letting it bother you? how do you win? I guess you'll never satisfy everyone, there's too many forums & opinions from people now you'd spend all your time fighting your corner.
I know the days of collecting Marilyn Monroe & Elvis & the Beatles & authenticating them aren't as easy because of how many people get autographs now & how celebrities & the entertainment industry has changed & vary altogether. Heck look how much people like Macca can vary, not like it was the same back in the day. He did a book signing in Westwood for his kids book some years ago & everyone was so similar but then so different in other ways than the lots I've had in London or Liverpool? Mj signed packages in large numbers sat on his knee reeling them off so when there signing like that you get more methodical looking graphs. I'm not saying anymore because it's looking like I'm trying to convince people rather than just give my reply, so Anyway that's my view & I hope it makes a difference to those who read it, Bwilliams, Grappher99, Steve Cyrkin & Bare Foot Mike etc.. Steve mentioned about UK collectors, I can only speak for myself but I've got Jacko in London, Oxford, Luton, Las Vegas, LA, NYC, How many times did you guys get him out of curiosity?
I agree with people being questioned over their stock especially in the way the industry is today, but in the instance the wrong persons stock is being questioned which is why the such long reply. I just hope this satisfies the doubters, but I know not all of you will accept my explanation above.
I also hope you continue to past constructive views for the not so experienced collectors or buyers. I see you put alot of time & are at the end of the day only trying to stop bad.
Thank you

ignings with the same pens on different sides of the pond? Red pen means it's authentic does it? How do we know these weren't done some afternoon by someone using the same pens? Do you have documentation or other proof of these 300 signed albums because I'd never heard of it and can find no information on it. I'd appreciate it. I've one and seen a few more of her signatures from 1980 and her signature was almost identical to hers now. The signatures on those albums are not it. The Honeyman-Scott is way off on both and the Farndons show inconsistencies, misalignments, etc. Also interesting that the sigs on those albums look identical to the pink card that was removed from RR yet is identical to other Pretenders 1 albums that have been showing-up. I guess everyone is getting rid of theirs for a hundred bucks or two despite there only being ~300 allegedly? I wish I had mine with me, a picture or a scan but I know Mae wouldn't mind me using this from the Pretenders Facebook and it is real circa 1980 if memory serves. https://fbcdn-sphotos-c-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-frc3/432193_37252... The story about the signed copies being mailed-out to record stations is great and the red ink is compelling, too bad the signatures look like someone was trying pretty hard to get them down and don't match authentic signatures I've seen. Almost like the same person sat down with a stack of records and well... I'm still calling BS on the two items in question and don't care at all what anyone thinks in here. The Clash album on RR right now is beyond questionable in my opinion and my record for spotting fakes on RR and elsewhere is pretty damn good. Like the one I got removed once upon a time with Cinderella story provenance and like numerous others in different forms that have shown-up recently since that I couldn't have been bothered to comment on only to receive a polite brush-off from Bobby. Joe loved signing, I never got one and have never seen an authentic Strummer that looked like a drunk chimpanzee put it down as in the example in question (and others on RR recently). Didn't matter how rushed or tired he was or how many he signed and some nights it went into the hundreds I'm sure. I never saw authentic signatures like this in over 30 years of collecting and I'm not about to accept them as authentic or be told so now. I don't care who it is. I'm just a long-time collector who's seen all these people sign multiple times (aside from Honeyman-Scott, Farndon and Chimes) and have a bunch of examples, from in-person encounters and purchases, all consistent with each other and markedly different from the ones sown here in numerous technical regards. One that has gotten a fake removed from one of the premier auction houses on the planet, an item that Roger stood behind 100% even after it was removed and deemed fake by RR themselves due to being failed by someone else. I'd be interested to know who gave it the fail and if this was in fact the case or if RR just removed it to avoid controversy? I'm not authenticating anything so others can make money from it, I'm not claiming to be an expert, I'm not going to be responsible for anyone buying or winning an item that is the least bit sketchy if I have any doubt. A couple of others here claim to have gotten clash signatures and that they are "familiar" with Pretenders signatures but absolutely no comments on the two items in question. Why is that? What this thread has shown me is that our hobby has degenerated into blind acceptance of anything a select few "expert" wants to deem authentic with regards to these two bands and there is very little question of true authenticity otherwise. It has also shown me the kind of "skills" being applied and that if one is after an authentic Clash or Pretenders item anywhere, one had better know your stuff because authentication has become an utter joke with regards to Clash and Pretenders evidently. I wouldn't be surprised if nobody knows what authentic Clash and Pretenders signatures look like eventually with all the crap being given the thumbs up these days. That is all.…
he Wheels High Gear MPH set. The High Gear set had 72 cards and the MPH series was limited to a serial numbered production of only 100 of each card.
I managed to assemble the better part of a complete set and in some cases, I had two or three of each card. I was at the point where I needed to add an additional dynamic to the collection, so I begin finding ways to get driver autographs on many of the cards. A few were obtained from standing in line at a NASCAR event, but most were obtained by sending the card to the driver's race shop with a letter asking for the autograph, in many cases a donation to the drivers favorite charity, and a self addressed stamped envelope. It is fair to say that there were many cards that were not autographed or returned to me... But, many of them were...
NASCAR began to make changes to the premier program, to the point where I became less and less interested... I still have the collection today and take very good care of the cards..
I see more and more of the forgeries occurring In this day and age. So, it makes me want to do some research as to the authenticity of the autographs I have.
Curious how I go about getting some validation? Who is a good source? If I decided that I wanted to sell any of the cards, do I need to get a letter or COA?

s many every week and has already sold a few dozen. He just listed a whole lot. I'm not sure how to embed pictures but here are the links. (If someone could embed the pictures please do so there is a record of these)
I would give him the benefit of the doubt of him not knowing they are fakes but He knows they are as I've messaged him before and told him. He claims he gets them from someone else. They are all exactly hither same style so come from the same source. He clearly knows who it is if it isn't him. He makes his own coas and puts a sticker on them too to look legit. PREMIER COLLECTIBLES is the name of his bogus authenticator. Look at the email address it's from yahoo lol. Hardly a real company
He also sold a Jordan/Woods flag that, of course, failed JSA. He got a negative for it but He then relisted it and sold it to someone else.
When I told him his autos were fake he told me I was just another armchair authenticator and jealous. He said they were all real and then I asked about the flag. He claimed he didn't know what I was talking about. I asked him about the negative feedback. Still claimed ignorance lol! I sent him the auction link and he didn't reply!
Look at his sold items for all the other ugly MJ fakes from treyt1999
Treyt1999 also realists a lot if them so I'm sure he is shill bidding too
