My Live Aid display, autographs by Freddie Mercury, Paul McCartney & Bono

"Awesome stuff man! I love the idea of having a 'vision' for a piece (like you did with the Live Aid photo) and putting it together bit by bit. Collecting parts to make a whole is such a satisfying process and man, have you knocked it out…"
TQ replied to GK1's discussion Sean Connery opinions
"Connery is notoriously tricky as he has many different styles of signing. You could pretty much grab any ‘Connery signature’ real or fake and find it looks somewhat similar to proper authentic examples. Then again, I guess that’s…"

"I wouldnt be comfortable with any of these either."

TQ replied to Hwachi's discussion Store: Rare-T, and Authenticator: Premiere Collectors (Eric Freidman) - Heath Ledger autograph?
"Haha was going to jump into this thread but I think Steve has done a great job! Neither of these heath ledgers are authentic. Steer clear!"

TQ replied to Karsten's discussion Elvis Presley. What do you think? Real? Thank you all.
"Nope def not!"

TQ replied to Jim Cushman's discussion You've gotta read the Coa's!!!
"And here's where the top secret authentication happens- 4150 Main St, West Columbia, SC. If you look closely the third tree from the left is actually the camouflaged Suite 204 where the Senior Luxury authentication magic is performed by the...…"

TQ replied to Bryant's discussion Arnold Schwarzenegger
"Hopefully someone with more experience with Arnie will jump in... but Im not comfortable with this. Its not a secretarial... but the number of 'U's in both his first and last name are not like anything Ive seen. I wouldnt buy it…"

TQ replied to goodcat's discussion John Bonham sig.... your attn please
"Funny story Goodcat, I ended up purchasing this last year- and only just found this discussion. I didnt pay $1000 in the end- not even close (cant remember exactly how much). Didnt get much further with the backstory but from the discussions I came…"

TQ replied to Jaro's discussion Walt Disney signature opinion.
"Im fairly certain that the way we think Disney signed is actually a concoction of the art department- thus this is a secretarial. His actual signature does not resemble the famous logo at all. Happy to be corrected by an expert however!"

TQ replied to Ryan Paine's discussion Autographs opinions Harrison Ford and Sean Connery
"Definitely forgeries."

TQ replied to RobTwoRs's discussion Arnold Schwarzenegger - Need help/advice with the authenticity on this one
"I am very much leaning towards it being good. And a damn nice one at that.  Put it this way, if it came up for sale and I was looking for another Arnie- Id buy it. Keep it and be proud of it!"

TQ replied to TQ's discussion Sean Connery autographs- show them or help please! in the group JAMES BOND 007
"Hey Kane, Sorry mate but that's not legit in my opinion. Its a fairly common style of forgery that I have come across many times. I have never once seen Connery sign authentically with anything like that massive loop on the lower part of the S.…"

Kane Masters replied to TQ's discussion Sean Connery autographs- show them or help please! in the group JAMES BOND 007
"Hi, I would be interested in opinions on this autograph. I do see some similarities between his authentic autographs, but as mentioned, his signature does vary . Background info, I picked up this piece from a trusted collector who does a lot with…"

"Nope, The H in particular is similar to a common forgery style. The thickness of the ink also makes it look as if it was signed slowly, as do the bizarre curves. Not the way Ledger signed at all."

What brings you to Autograph Live?
Been a long time collector and fan and have referred to autograph live numerous times- thought I was about time I began participating in the community!
Who can we thank for telling you about Autograph Live?
I can’t remember - visited so many times!
What do you collect, or want to collect?
Modern Hollywood and Stage, Classic Hollywood and Stage, Music
Tell us more about your collection, specific areas of interest, etc.:
James Bond autographs. Have especially a lot experience with Daniel Craig and Sean Connery autographs.
Modern Hollywood autographs- I have a large collection including many of the modern a listers.
Music autographs- Queen, Billy Joel, Led Zeppelin, iconic guitarists.
What is your level of expertise?

What is your favorite autograph in your collection?
I have a display I assembled with fairly curious/interesting examples of each of the bonds and returning cast members. I’m really proud of it for its bulletproof authenticity and the ‘interesting nature’ of the signatures.
Why do you collect?
I love the research, hunt and satisfaction of putting together a display. It’s also unbelievably cool to have a little museum/display in my media room for friends and visitors- very satisfying. And each autograph conveys a little personality and story!
You can ask anyone living or dead for their autograph. Who would it be?
Elvis Presley or Freddie Mercury
