TQ replied to Greg's discussion Sean Connery exemplars and discussion in the group JAMES BOND 007
"All three are good in my opinion. The final one is fairly typical of the rushed in person street style. His signature varies wildly and the ‘Cvvvvvvy’ is pretty common."

TQ replied to nicolò fabbris's discussion once upon a time in hollywood, original?
"Once upon a squiggle... you couldn’t get a lazier collection of signatures! I can’t say much about most of them but I don’t see a brad Pitt signature that I recognise- at least not the way I’m familiar with and I’ve…"

TQ replied to Hunter LaLiberte's discussion Is this website a good one to buy real autographs?
"Im not a fan of this. Ledger's autograph was all sharp angles in the late 90's when he was signing his full signature... but this version, which began in the 2000's, tends to be much more rounded and flowing with a very distinct d/g…"

TQ replied to quiller's discussion real or not real?
"Hi, if you put the name of the signer in the title of your post you’ll get the attention of the experts on that person. In my opinion though this is no good."

TQ replied to Bruce Juice's discussion New Jimmy Page Signed Books - Pre-Order from Genesis Publications
"Exactly, I only knew because Id seen a documentary of him working with fender for the new guitars. Its more reminiscent of his vintage style for sure: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ulEugtz0FY4 If youre a guitar player its an interesting…"

"Very interested to hear what you get back from them- I fully expect that the image they provided was just a placeholder until he has time to sign them... Surely they wouldnt try and get away with an autopen (or that darned stamp) for that money...…"

TQ replied to Bruce Juice's discussion New Jimmy Page Signed Books - Pre-Order from Genesis Publications
"I disagree, JP is still very collectable and amongst the most valuable of the living icons. Verifiable signatures (like those on limited lithographs, his website sold vinyls, books etc) are still commanding top dollar. If we rely on precedent, then…"

TQ replied to Bruce Juice's discussion New Jimmy Page Signed Books - Pre-Order from Genesis Publications
"And here is the machine printed signature on the standard (cheaper) Fender versions. It is the same one as that printed in the book so Id say its now the stock autopen Page signature and that he likely hasn't signed the actual books yet as…"

TQ replied to Bruce Juice's discussion New Jimmy Page Signed Books - Pre-Order from Genesis Publications
"The Fender custom shop version of the dragon and mirror Jimmy Page telecasters were both (partly) hand painted and signed by page this year. Seems to be the way he signs things nowadays when not rushed. "

TQ replied to GK1's discussion Sean Connery opinions
"Connery is notoriously tricky as he has many different styles of signing. You could pretty much grab any ‘Connery signature’ real or fake and find it looks somewhat similar to proper authentic examples. Then again, I guess that’s…"

About Me

What kind of member are you? Industry professionals must use their real names and identify themselves as such. (Check as many as apply.)
Collector, Fan
What brings you to Autograph Live?
Been a long time collector and fan and have referred to autograph live numerous times- thought I was about time I began participating in the community!
Who can we thank for telling you about Autograph Live?
I can’t remember - visited so many times!
What do you collect, or want to collect?
Modern Hollywood and Stage, Classic Hollywood and Stage, Music
Tell us more about your collection, specific areas of interest, etc.:
James Bond autographs. Have especially a lot experience with Daniel Craig and Sean Connery autographs.
Modern Hollywood autographs- I have a large collection including many of the modern a listers.
Music autographs- Queen, Billy Joel, Led Zeppelin, iconic guitarists.
What is your level of expertise?
Intermediate Collector, Long Time Lover
What is your favorite autograph in your collection?
I have a display I assembled with fairly curious/interesting examples of each of the bonds and returning cast members. I’m really proud of it for its bulletproof authenticity and the ‘interesting nature’ of the signatures.
Why do you collect?
I love the research, hunt and satisfaction of putting together a display. It’s also unbelievably cool to have a little museum/display in my media room for friends and visitors- very satisfying. And each autograph conveys a little personality and story!
You can ask anyone living or dead for their autograph. Who would it be?
Elvis Presley or Freddie Mercury
