TQ replied to GK1's discussion Sean Connery opinions
"Worth noting that this is his vintage autograph- he stopped signing like this in the mid 70s. These autographs are almost always accompanied by a dedication. Note the detached S and the articulation of each letter in his last name. Definitely my…"

TQ replied to R3to's discussion Sean Connery Autograph real or fake?
"Unfortunately I’m not confident in this one either. To me this looks to be signed slowly (as if copying) and features a number of oddities which do not feature in any of the modern signed photos I’m confident in. The Sean is particularly…"

TQ replied to TJ's discussion Roger Moore ... real or fake
"Im happy with the first one, its a little rushed (and not as visually appealing as some) but good. The second is also likely good but its not a good example and best avoided- theres no shortage of Moore's out there so its worth waiting for the…"

TQ replied to Mercedes Barreras's discussion Good Examples of Signatures
"Hi Mercedes. Its a good question and there's no hard and fast rule. Try searching these forums- members often post examples in discussions and theyre a great learning opportunity. I would also suggest if youre new to the hobby you could create…"

TQ replied to NotANurse's discussion Roger Moore and Sean Connery
"I would personally avoid the two signed photos. The top Roger Moore is good- but its rushed and not the nicest example so I would probably look for a better example if I were you."

TQ replied to Mikeyboy's discussion Jimmy Page
"Im always hesitant to comment on signatures on clothes as it tends to change signing style and slow them down.. meaning its difficult to tell whether something has been drawn slowly or alternatively with confidence. This one to me has a lot of…"

TQ replied to Paul Hakimian's discussion Led Zeppelin signed program framing advise.
"Can I just say for the record- that is a darn nice find and exceptional piece. Well done mate! If it were me I’d be mating it with another image the same size of them live in concert with a black backing and frame. I reckon keep it simple.…"

Patrick replied to TQ's discussion Daniel Craig exemplars and discussion in the group JAMES BOND 007
"Thank you!  My thoughts exactly...I don’t think anyone can truly authenticate his signature with how short and inconsistent it is. I wanted to know 100% that I got the real deal and this was the only way I felt I could do it. "

Collector, Fan
What brings you to Autograph Live?
Been a long time collector and fan and have referred to autograph live numerous times- thought I was about time I began participating in the community!
Who can we thank for telling you about Autograph Live?
I can’t remember - visited so many times!
What do you collect, or want to collect?
Modern Hollywood and Stage, Classic Hollywood and Stage, Music
Tell us more about your collection, specific areas of interest, etc.:
James Bond autographs. Have especially a lot experience with Daniel Craig and Sean Connery autographs.
Modern Hollywood autographs- I have a large collection including many of the modern a listers.
Music autographs- Queen, Billy Joel, Led Zeppelin, iconic guitarists.
What is your level of expertise?
Intermediate Collector, Long Time Lover
What is your favorite autograph in your collection?
I have a display I assembled with fairly curious/interesting examples of each of the bonds and returning cast members. I’m really proud of it for its bulletproof authenticity and the ‘interesting nature’ of the signatures.
Why do you collect?
I love the research, hunt and satisfaction of putting together a display. It’s also unbelievably cool to have a little museum/display in my media room for friends and visitors- very satisfying. And each autograph conveys a little personality and story!
You can ask anyone living or dead for their autograph. Who would it be?
Elvis Presley or Freddie Mercury
