On the afternoon talk show The Talk, there was a guest from Entertainment Tonight named Cameron Madison. He showed up to tell a story about Star Wars creator George Lucas. He showed clips of Lucas leaving a hotel and being asked for his autograph. Madison said they were autograph dealers trying to make money off his…

Some autograph collectors only want signed memorabilia. There’s nothing wrong with 8x10s signed by your favorite actor, but they’re a dime a dozen. You can go into Pink’s and buy a hot dog, and looking at a wall full of signed pictures.
A script signed by your favorite TV show, or cast members of a movie you like, is a lot more interesting. To me, a step above…

I have a large collection of autographs from The Kids in the Hall -- my favorite comedy troupe ever. I'll never sell them.
It seems every five years the guys tour -- and they're good about signing before and after shows (at one show, they came into the merch booth 40 minutes after the show to sign items and take photos).
I've gotten all my DVDs signed, an 8 x 10 from their movie Brain Candy.
Well, the other day I drove up to the Irvine Improv…

I never watch Jay Leno, because he's really not that funny or good at what he does; but Dave Letterman has been repeats all week.
Well, Justin Timberlake was promoting Social Network (a great movie, if you haven't seen it yet). Leno set him up, getting him to talk about the Lakers and how they'd go all the way and win it all. He then brought out Chris Bosh of the Miami Heat (the team that recently won the LeBron James Sweepstakes).
Bosh gave him a jersey, and…

It's the one featured in Autograph Magazine months and months back.
I'm having financial hardships, and need to sell it.
Any questions on the item, email me.
It's not an album, but a picture sleeve.
Each signature can be seen clearly (aside from original drummer PETE BEST, who signed over a dark portion). You can see it if you tilt it right in the light, as it's a black sharpie.
Comes with: backstage pass from Ringo…

The last song on the Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band record was A Day in the Life, written by John Lennon. It's considered by many the best song on the album.
In Rolling Stone Magazines list of 500 Great Songs of All Time, it was #26. And, in terms of handwritten lyrics, it's probably #1.
An American collecto paid $1.2 million for it at the Sotheby's auction. They had estimated it would get between 500,000 and $800,000.
It's on a…

I was interviewed on a radio station last night talking about the death of Corey Haim. The subject went into childhood actors, and I mentioned the VH1 list of 100 Greatest Childhood Stars, and Corey was #26. The list is a compilation of a lot of trainwrecks -- either dead or drug problems, etc.
Anyway, I just now thought about the time the cast of Lost Boys (about 6 months ago), came to town to sign autographs. It wasn't Corey Feldman and Keifer Sutherland, or even Jason…
