His Hofstra College ring was valued at around $350, and went for $6,000.
The hotel ballroom in Manhattan, was filled with people participating in the auction. One guy overpaying by about $3,000 to own a set of golf clubs. He just liked the idea that his name was on the clubs.
The U.S. Marshals Service ran the auction, from seized items from the couple.
There were pens and stationery, furs, decoy ducks, dishes, a Rolex watch, as well as many other things.
They had hoped to bring in $500,000. But the auction brought in a cool million.
