BB is like the Stan Lee of signed comics and Bob Feller and Pete Rose of signed baseballs!Probably more guitars exist signed by BB than any other musician. That said, as many as I've seen, each and every signature seems to differ in letter formation to me! And this is true of authenticated pieces, even by the same company in the same year range. I know there must be a tell, a key to authenticating BB, but as of yet, I haven't realized it.

I have run B.B.’s fan club and fan site for over 30 years and honoured to say B. was a good friend of mine.

I have a few signed guitars and I feel that this is not real, sorry. It looks like a slower drawn signature. It doesn’t have the flow of B.s signature, even in his latter years.

Here is one of my Signed Gibson Lucille guitars for comparison.

Best wishes, Richard.

Thanks for the sharing of knowledge.  Greatly appreciated!

When I made this purchase, I did not have the advantage of a fantastic group of folks as this forum has.  It was purchased from an individual who claimed he had it signed in person.  He had the ticket from the show and a few of those little gold BB King guitars that he tossed to the audience came with it.  Sounded good at the time.

Ya win some, ya learn some!  At least I have another guitar out of the deal.  Thanks again...

Sorry my friend.
