Hi.  I am just curious if we have any signed book collectors here on AML.  I have a few signed books myself:  John F. Kennedy, John Lennon, Madonna, and two by Phog Allen (basketball).  While collecting signed books is not necessarily my priority, I actually do like owning them.  And your autograph is nicely secure and protected in the book...and will not fade!  So does anyone else here collect them?  Is there any type you collect, and what do you like about having a signed book?  Or, on the other hand, if you don't like them, feel free to vent!

You're funny. LOL

I agree with Eric.  So many people here have very nice collections.  I've owned some more myself, but unfortunately a few got lost in moves, and I've sold a few as well.  Mostly though, I only sell to use funds for another purchase.  I'm glad to hear that so many people love signed books.

A signed book is one of the best items in my collection. It's a Jim Morrison signed copy of "The New Creatures", which was privately published in an edition of 100.

Signed Morrison poetry books are pretty much all I have been thinking of since the thread started! With a diversion to Goodcat53's Syd and Steve's awesome shelves.

We need a picture. :-)

Nice! Now you are making the rest of us look bad! :-)
