Michael Jackson Signature. Real or Fake? From 1981

Hello. First time poster.

I was looking for some opinions, on wether this signature is real or not. What are your opinions? This is supposedly made in 1981. Please let me know! Thank you.

As for the one in question, it looks later than 1981 to me. But not much later: it wouldn't have concerned me if someone said mid-80s.

I believe the above Michael Jackson signature is Likely Genuine. Here is another example I found that is similar to the one posted above:

When was that signed? The apparent creation or addition of the provenance is what I was going after - not authenticity.

I've seen period-signed Thriller albums with similar autographs to your 1993.

It appears the earlier signatures have larger letters after the "M" and "J". The later signatures appear less articulated and smaller.

I totally agree that it seems to have been signed mid 80's, but I think it's genuine, and I have no doubt. It has, in my opinion, just been signed quickly.

Maybe its just me but the provenance is problematic and to me, that is a problem. It's genuine - why the story?

Hello, thank you all for the replies. I purchased this signature and I cant wait to get it.

Im happy to know that its ''likely genuine'' The seller has a amazing reputation, and I have to start somewhere, right? I guess theres always risks involved.

Like I said iam extremely new at this, and this is my first signature I ever bought.

Once again, thank you all very much. This website is awesome, and i'm happy to be a part of it now, however small.
