Hello everyone! This is the piece that started me collecting. I like the framing part as well.
Very nice, Gary. I did something similar with my Van Halen autographs.
Thanks Mike! Send me a picture of your Van Halen. I’d love to see it. That’s one of the bands I plan on adding to my collection at some point.
Neil Young — Waging Heavy Peace [Blue Rider Press, 2012], deluxe edition, limited to 1,500 signed and numbered copies, in cloth-wrapped slipcase:

Must be music month -- I keep running into big-ticket autos for good prices.
1st printing of "My Way" by Paul Anka. One of my mother's favorite artists.
Came across two signed Robbie Robertson books in the span of a week - one is a 1st printing U.S. edition, and the other a 1st pr. Canadian edition. Were it not for the small logos on each book, you wouldn't even know they were from different companies.
The copy of the U.S. edition I found has a problem (pilling? shrinkage?) on the signature page. While I'm generally not the type of person who would advocate for cutting out signatures, it causes enough stress to the page that I'm seriously considering trimming out the entire page and creating a photo display with it.
And finally, my find of the year:
Even though I was aware of the forum topic on the deal, I was very late to the party on this one, and presumed I would never have a chance to get in on this deal. I was also aware that Polly Samson was supposed to hold a book launch event up here in Toronto, Canada, though I presumed that even if/when it is held post-pandemic, Gilmour wouldn't show up.
Lo and behold, a couple weeks back, I stumbled across a U.K. seller on Facebook Marketplace who gave me an absolute steal for the set. Either he didn't know what he had and didn't care, or knew anyway and didn't care. (It was being advertised as a "Polly Samson signed book w/ bonus photo") This is one of the copies with the bonus dual-signed photo as the "consolation prize" from the postponed launch event.
I actually wanted this for the book itself, as I'm a big fan of Leonard Cohen and was interested to see how Samson would portray this era and location with the "Canadian connection". The photo was a huge, huge bonus. (And this one's staying in my collection.)
