I expected to spend more than average, it's always busy with sales from October to Black Friday, but this year seems especially crazy.

Obama/Springsteen was an expensive surprise. I got Staind on a second chance offer. Then there's some long-awaited books coming out (Grohl, Will Smith). Had to pass on a couple of others because we've got a lot of non-hobby expenses coming. I'm sure I'll regret some stuff I passed up on, but family comes first of course.
