JSA Authenticated Beatles “Signed” Album Page. How Could This Happen?
Is this not a Joe Long forgery? It’s currently on eBay at a starting bid of $25,000.

Hey Ballroom...Sets of all 4?...No. Solo Joe Long signatures?...Yes! I have lots of old auction catalogs from the late 80's and early 1990's....and the major auction house were selling quite a few Joe Long forgeries!

Not related directly to this signed piece, but I sometimes google JSA stuff by various artists and I'm absolutely gutted at the amount of fakes with a JSA certificate / letter of authenticity out there. Sure most of them are real, but some of them are so obviously fake...
I've also researched some Beatles graphs and these ones which have the JSA YY12650 Certificate number tend to be fake. The Ringo autograph is too off and it looks like the green ones were done by the same hand. I'm also very suspicious of stuff signed on a piece of paper since these always are the most forged ones. Apart from a few cases, I've almost never seen a real autograph signed on a generic piece of paper.

The thing is, opinions are opinions.
I went to the Beatles Story museum the other day and one of the exhibits is a 7 inch copy of P.S. I Love You signed by Paul and Ringo just after it came out.
Now to me the Ringo one kinda looks ok but the Paul sig looks like a chicken gained sentience and decided to start forging Beatles sigs. It looks nothing like the other examples I've seen, even early rushed ones.
But the providence of the exhibit is pretty solid, it belonged to a lady who knew the Beatles personally and even went out with Harrison for a time so it is probably real. So it would be down to the opinion of the person looking at it and that will vary by person.
On another note, another exhibit is an album signed by all four but the sigs have faded to the point where they are almost invisible. Man my heart sank when I saw that.
