Juan Domingo Peron, military promotion

Hand drawn water colour by r w alley the famous Paddington bears illustrator .

signed and dated and I like the fact he has a pic of him holding it after he finished the art think it adds to it

ahh that is lovely, where did you find it?

I won it on charity auction , getting it framed with magic glass today so should have it back next week , the pic is beautiful in real life

Could you post an example of something framed with magic glass?

I am unsure if Ash is using the term “magic glass” in a generic fashion, or if he is referring to a specific product with that brand name.  If the latter, then I’m not familiar with the product.

I had my signed Nico poster framed using Artglass AR 70:

This particular glass shows virtually no reflection, even when viewed in person.  It’s a little strange at first because it’s almost as if there is no glass present at all.  I’m very happy with how it presents my poster in the best possible light.

Yes stepanut this is exactly the same as I’m having, no reflection with any viewing angle and also has uv protection built into it to stop any sun damage , art galley shop shown me and example it’s almost like there’s isn’t any glass in the frame .

sorry I was just quoting the person doing the framing Samsung it’s like magic glass as I didn’t know the correct term of it , I’m not getting it back until next week so il post a pic when it’s done .

Thanks for clarifying, Ash.

The drawing you’ve bought is lovely, and deserves to be framed using the best quality glass.  You’ve made a sound decision, IMO.  I look forward to seeing the end result.

The generic term would be "museum quality" glass. You can actually get "museum quality" acrylic as well nowadays.

Supposedly cuts out over 90% of UV rays etc,

It costs 60 to 70% more but as a long-term investment you will recoup the costs. Definitely worth the extra i.m.h.o.

Stunning!

Congratulations.

Recently posted this in another thread, but acquired this Bob Dylan signed Love and Theft album insert.

Stephen Chow Signed Kung Fu Hustle Double Sided Theatrical Poster.
