Has anyone heard if Barnes & Noble will be doing their annual Black Friday instore Signed Edition promotion? If so, any ideas of what books could potentially show up?

Here is the Sly Stone signed book I bought today.

Yes, very likely that he missed signing a few pages.

I had always assumed there was a manual component to the tipped-in page process.  If there is, shame on the person who handled those.

I let the manager know one of the Meghan Trainor signed books wasn’t actually signed. It had the sticker and everything but was just missing her signature on the page.

That’s the only one I saw with an issue.

Clipping signed pages out of books is more widespread than you think. I've been seeing it more and more over the past two years at secondhand stores.

I didn't notice till I got home but the Arnold I got had 3 signed stickers on it for some reason. I checked all mine for the best looking signatures before buying lol... so I know mine were signed.

I made the trip... they had a 1 per policy at mine too... pretty good amount of each book, way more than previous years... maybe 6 Arnold's, and 4-5 Portmans, most books had at least 4-6 copies. I got one of each of the big names, Arnold, Stewart, Key and Peele, Portman... they also had channing Tatum, Jake Gyllenhaal, Bob odenkirk, Jimmy Fallon, Kimmel, in kids section... no geddy Lee, or sly at mine. They had Millie Bobbys Secretary lol... Melissa etheridge... lots of good ones. This was probably one of the best Years that I can remember. John Stamos, Bernie Taupin... others I can't remember. Worth the trip.

my store had everyone Arnold Schwarzenegger,Patrick Stewart,Natalie Portman I think this was the best year.

Wish I had gone to my store earlier. They apparently got all of those signed books but they sold out quickly. Only one Patrick Stewart managed to stick around until literally minutes as I arrived.

Me and my dad got the Arnold Schwarzenegger signed book. They were gone real quick in under 10 seconds. The Patrick Stewart’s signed stayed a little longer but were long gone after a few minutes.

Yeah someone was looking at the Millie Bobbie Brown book and I told them it’s not her real signature.  I explained why. They thanked me for letting them know.

Sounds like some people are getting some great titles that are either tough to find anywhere else or are very expensive elsewhere.

My friend went back to B&N early this evening and they had one Arnold Schwarzenegger left and they also had a Bernie Taupin out back.

No Portman or Stone.
