For sure, even when Talkshop Live fills your order, its a coin flip whether or not your item will arrive damaged or look like crap.
They actually have a disclaimer that a bad graph (smeared, smudged) is not cause for a return. But arent you buying said item for the autograph? You could literally buy it anywhere else, but you are buying it from Talkshop Live for the autograph. So a crappy autograph should be cause for a return.
They also have a disclaimer about accounts in “bad standing” ? Im assuming here they mean people theyve ripped off and ghosted (not returning emails) who have to turn to their credit card provider for relief when Talkshop sold them fake Ice T graphs.
Crap company with terrible customer service. You did right by avoiding them.
They do this to people who have spent hundreds of dollars with them across multiple orders. So if they dont do right by “regulars” why would you trust them at all?
Seems like common sense, but not to those clowns!
They have a few people on here that have had good luck with them but it seems like most of us have not. Since we know they at least occasionally monitor this site I am kind of surprised that they have not even addressed the tons of complaints on here that they have had to see at least some of. Instead they just add these disclaimers that basically say we can send to crap and you just have to accept it. My problem has mainly been damaged items and if they get someone I really want I’ll probably take a chance but I’m not buying nearly everything like I used to.
Yes, well, I was thrilled with them until I wasnt - and they did what they do (to me).
No more. They dont deserve my money. Once bitten, twice shy, as they say.
I'm one of the lucky ones. The only problems I had were a Journey LP then didn't contain the autographed insert and the Ice T forgeries. Im not sure how the entire site is run exactly but I try to stick to the Rock and Roll channel purchases only with a few exceptions. Ice T was a different store. I believe shipped and sold by This is Hip Hop. Both instances, TSL made things right. The only other store I dealt with thru TSL is Ingram Entertainment. I thought for sure my DEVO mini posters would be ruined but arrived in perfect condition. Based on what others have mentioned, I believe I really lucked out overall.
The reason why I'm moving away from them is because of cost. They do not combine shipping. Theres been many times Ive added things to my cart, go to check out and am hit with sticker shock. High shipping prices and a processing fee all combined becomes a bit ridiculous. Probably stems from them being a 3rd party, everyone needs to profit
I'm done with them. I contacted them after I received the Ice T forged autograph in December and they refused to issue a refund.
My next step was to file with my card issuer. Talk Shop Live is dragging this out the FULL 90 days. This is absolutely ridiculous. So I'm completely done with them, no more after this sh*tshow of an experience.
Just out of curiosity, did you follow the protocol for the refund? I sent them pictures of the signatures I received with the label of the box they came in, all in 1 picture. Did you try using someone else's photo instead of taking your own? Just covering all bases because it doesn't make sense why they would refund some but not others
No way would that happen, Talkshop live wouldn't be able to get away with selling forgeries of Ace Frehley.
If they would do that... I think that all of us would stop buying there at some point.
I've already stopped buying after the Ice T forgeries. I'm completely out, no matter who they have. I've bought some things from them, but I'm completely done with them.
As most of you know, Ace sold out on TSL. Just a note that next Friday, February 23rd,Rob Halford of Judas Priest is joining us and we have limited 2LP colored purple vinyl and the band is signing.

Listed as a signed insert.. please don't misrepresent the item. The jacket won't be signed correct? I didn't buy the Bush signed greatest hits LP because it was listed as signed insert. Customers ended up receiving an actual signed jacket. I was very upset I missed out on that. If it was listed correctly I would have purchased. In the end I bought one on the secondary market.
We make best efforts to confirm items and often they change. We have limited time to announce and offer prior to release and make best efforts to alert all as soon as we know and if any changes are communicated to us. We received the signed items very close to release date. The item is a 10x10 insert reproduction of album art and art on the flipside. The inages will be posted hopefully today.
Who's signing the Judas priest items? Not really interested if it's just Rob
