My point was did they make any attempt in the description to identify the raised embossing? I simply wondered since someone drew a digital circle on it to draw attention for some reason.

Sorry... I wasn't going to guess because I had no clue why that circle was drawn since I haven't seen the original listing and only knew it was described as "some sort of stamp".
When I see a signed photo of a pope and it's described as having "some sort of stamp"... my mind naturally goes to a papal seal. I just wanted to rule that out since it doesn't look like that from what I can pick up of a photo of a photo under glass.

I didn't say it would be a "Papal stamp" (papal). It actually would be a seal as I stated, not a stamp (although stamp is what many not familiar might just refer to it as). A seal would indicate that it has been issued through a Vatican office, to put it in plainest terms. This has now been shared that looks to be the kind of postcard that would have been sold in the millions. Perhaps harder to make the case that it may be real.

I would lean towards it being OK
Not being familiar with EAC makes me a bit uneasy, and my initial concern was it not being live ink like a lot of his other photos/postcards, but I haven't seen any matching signatures

Stamp, Seal - we know what we are talking about.
Perhaps JP2 (hand?) signed with a date under on some regular basis? Many are dated, not all.
