One hand? Let's see what Ballroom sees/says.

...and be open to others who might have some input as well.  I can think of a few additional members right offhand who would also potentially have some valued insight to see/say about this.

Obviously...Eddy, I do not need your hand holding or needless comments. I have never set myself as a Morrison guy - although I have done alright when I have commented on occasion.

Did you notice you altered your icon to a coin/medal immediately after I did? That was an experiment. Mimicry is flattery they say...

Mine is Prince Albert Victor ("Eddy").  I collect on him.  It's a medal commemorating an event he was involved in regarding the Freedom of the City of London.  I recently acquired one after a long search and am kind of proud of it.

I'll go back to a regular CDV of him if it's more comfortable for you.  Sorry to cause apparent offense.  It was not intended.

Done...back to a CDV image of PAV.  I hope that helps soothe things.  Again, apologies.

No apology necessary. There is nothing to soothe - as I said it was just bait.

"just bait"....that's a bit unsettling for me to read.

I expect so as you took it. I will take a line from you and ask you to leave me alone now.

I certainly will.  This "bait" comment (unsettling indeed) along with doing some reflection since Nick D's now removed insightful recent post on this theme has helped to make a decision about my participation going forward.  I was nearing this previously when I was dismissively told in no uncertain terms that my opinions are "just words".  That's not cricket on a hobby board that is, in reality, all about opinions.

As you wish - it was the timing, and I know who that is. I simply guessed it had to be someone called "Prince Eddy"...not hard.

SO, let's see what Ballroom and the others say - happy now? I typed that sentence yesterday. Today I shortened it. I was not aware I was playing to your expectations. Not that I will...

Mine is a 1906 Cameo Proof Barber 10C from the collection of Dr. Benson who purchased this dime from Max B. Mehl in 1941.  Only 675 were struck.

Mmm.

As I was saying before, let's see what Ballroom says/sees. And yes, of course, others too. The suggestion that I was only asking Ballroom was not appreciated.
