This appears to be slowly and carefully rendered in an attempt to replicate her.  I'd wager someone may have possibly seen this online to create their version of the last part:

Thank you Eddy. Thank you for your response. Interesting.

You're welcome, Owen.  She seems to be continue to be quite popular in sales so best to be careful.

well it certainly  lacks  fluidity and spontaneity.  Have you purchased it Owen?

No Michelle, I didnt. I think someone else has now. But some were sceptical when they saw it for the same reason. It looked slowly written and also very clean, as if it was recently written.

Thanks for your feedback.

Without wandering off course too much,....but since both Owen and michelle are looking at this image....I notice the glass appears to have an AFTAL sticker on it.  I seem to be encountering this logo more and more.  It's a strictly British autograph association?

What I've seen from various sources with that logo attached seems to be a mixed bag of good and not so much.  On the positive, I know Mark at memorabilia-uk  is a member and he's someone that I highly respect amongst dealers.

Aftal has a hugh number of problems at the moment for all sorts of reasons.  They are now going to make it  more difficult to join, and to make sure that the difference between actual aftal dealer and aftal affilliated is made.  Mark  Riddle and Garry King  are both very respectable but many of the others I would give a miss.  If someone makes a complaint about an Aftal dealer, Aftal is going to try and investigate more throughly

Thanks, michelle.  That's kind of what I was sensing having encountered the AFTAL logo more often in recent years.

Unfortunately this registered seller (0027) has a packed website of good and bad items - a Marlon Brando Godfather peice (aboce) for one, at £340, which is clearly fake.

After further research, the Hepburn item I originally posted, is fraudulent.

Thank you for the responses Eddy.

Sure thing, Owen.

I had a look at that site (0027).  The framing presentation is what seems to be the selling point.

Quite honestly, seeing that logo on this below and other items they have like the "Brando" you added could possibly lead to questioning the standards of the whole association.  Certainly not fair to those who might be the more honest members of it.  )-:

I also know several legitimate AFTAL sellers. Unfortunately this registered seller (0027) has a packed website of good and bad items - a Marlon Brando Godfather peice for one, at £300, which is clearly fake.

After further research, the Hepburn item I originally posted, is fraudulent.

Thank you for the responses Eddy.

Regarding what Michelle said, I wrote AFTAL through the website concerning such a dealer with that sort of forgery, showed many examples, and they never even responded.
