The BBC are reporting that a person is selling a complete set of 1963 Beatles sigs at auction.

I find the whole thing a bit off, the providence sounds strange, the guy just forgets that he has some very valuable sigs for 60 years before his wife happens to come across them but he is not forgetful enough to lose it. Not saying they are fake (I have no idea) but the phrase "After handing his autograph book to a roadie, it was given back to him signed by John, Paul, George and Ringo." is a bit of a red flag.
Not too sure who "Ringo Start" is either.

Quite possibly the worst set of Beatles signatures I have ever seen!!!
BBC? “...act in the public interest, serving all audiences through the provision of impartial, high-quality and distinctive output and services which inform, educate and entertain”." - well, it sort of does that...the entertainment bit. The rest...
April 1st is a ways off yet...
BRUTAL..not even close. I've seen these before...
shocking
Sadly, this is a fairly routine event in provincial auction houses across the UK. There is no end of them and the stories are remarkably similar, usually - I am not suggesting there is any kind of conspiracy going on. It's a generational thing, I think, with people passing on and their mementoes being taken to the local auctioneer.
Pleased to say I killed such a sale recently where the story was that a POLICEMAN was dispatched into a building to get the autographs - as if! Of course, if a policeman is involved it must be kosher!
Plenty more to come.
These poor attempts were discussed in the group a few weeks ago. Sold for a hammer price of £1,500 by the way.
“….could earn up to £1,500 at auction.” Two minutes of research would show what a steal that would be for an authentic set.
The BBC must be slipping to not even check if the signatures were real. The set sold earlier today at Potters Auctions. Here is the man responsible for the auction who must know he sold a forgery: paul@pottersauction.co.uk
I did take the rare step (for me) of emailing the auction house in advance, advising them to look again at this one. But to no avail.
