He turned me down once and didn't have time to do an op.  Great loss to USA.

Paul, in my opinion, the signature on the 5th anniversary litho is not authentic.

I always wanted to add his autograph to my collection, but knew that many years back he stopped signing TTM.  For someone who made such a large impact he seemed to be a very humble man.  True hero in my opinion.

Nice work, Mr. Zipper.   We all know what happens when a famous person unfortunately passes away.

It is unfortunate that there are people bidding on this Neil Armstrong.   I think Mr. Zipper would agree that it is not authentic.

A pathetic forgery. Not even close.

Like U said caveat emptor.   One would think they ought to be cautious with this description.  Although it seems forgery is not crossing the seller's mind...

This has been autographed by Neil Armstrong.  As far as the authenticity of the signature, I do not have a COA or any paperwork for it.  It is signed in thin felt tip black marker, and to my eye it does NOT seem to match any of the known autopen or secretarial patters listed on a well known site showing  Astronaut Autopen patterns over the years.  The width of the lines in the writing varies and is not a continuous width.  The ends of most of the lines trail off as opposed to a clear point that you would find with an autopen.

Again please be aware that I cannot guarantee 100% the authenticity of this signature, but based on my own examination I do not believe it to be an autopen.  I am not an expert however, so please ask any and all questions BEFORE you bid and BEFORE the last few hours of the sale.

Finally!   Item 221115208112 is no longer available and in case some wonder what that means - EBAY agreed and removed it.

Here's another very questionable Neil Armstrong autograph on a baseball.  In my opinion, it is not authentic.  This is a mess.

No good IMO.

I do think this seller is being quite honest;

Q: will this pass PSA authentication? thank you.

A: I could not tell you what opinion PSA/DNA will render on this signature. As my post stated, I leave it to you, the buyer, to form your own educated opinion/judgement before bidding. If you care to make the investment in having PSA render their opinion, based on the .jpg scan provided, you are free to pursue that avenue.

Perhaps this ought to have been a dead giveaway but one does have to wonder who the Space Collector thtat it was acquired from was.  Seems alot of people are going to be parting with money and be woefully surprised.

I can't guarantee the authenticty of this Neil Armstrong signed baseball (American League ball), since I didn't get it signed in-person, but it looks darn nice.  Of course, everyone will have their own opinion.  I had purchased this from a fellow space collector about 10 years ago.  I'll leave it to you to form your own judgement and opinion

another one bites the dust;  This listing (370643046760) has been removed, or this item is not available
