I would like to share with everyone a major problem I have been seeing around Florida for the past few years. For a while you would only see these signature on photos or on multi signed 500 Home Run or 3000 hits baseballs. A year or so ago P.A.A.S. starting receiving these Autographed White Panel Baseballs, "Official League Baseball" , signed in blue ink on the sweet spot. They would be submitted one or two at time, and mostly from collectors that obtained them at local Florida shows or Flea markets. In the last 4-5 months we were receiving these almost exact signed baseballs for autograph authentication from around the country. Last month a local Florida dealer brought in 70 of these pure white single signed baseball for autograph authentication. I held the submission for a few days, so we could document and photograph the signatures for our files. When the dealer returned for his baseballs, I asked him where he had obtained these signed baseballs? He explained with a straight face that he has had them for over 7 years. He said that he waited on lines at autograph shows and sent some of the baseballs to autograph shows around the country to get signed. I then explained to him that they are not authentic and that I have been aware of these forged signatures for years. I also showed him enough proof that he had nothing further to say and admitted that he purchased the baseballs at a Miami Flea market for $10 per baseball. The scary part is he told me that a sports memorabilia dealer friend of his from North Carolina purchased over 300 baseballs and a dozen Muhammad Ali signed gloves. This is becoming a wide spread problem and I have been seeing these same baseballs on many websites and auctions. Please take note of these examples and study the signature patterns. You may notice a few different variations of the same signature, this is done by increasing or decreasing the size and width of the autograph. Besides not being authentic I am sure some of the readers will see some interesting similarities with these signatures. I would like hear some opinions and receive some input. There are additional names and signatures and we will continue to post them.

Thank you for your time,

I am sure there is...   but when one thinks of how many $$$$ are being waisted by the unknowing collectors (and there are alot more of them then knowledgeable ones) patience sometimes can be trying.   We need many more threads like this that expose the corruption.

It is what it is.  Some things we cannot control.

Are you serious? Onesies and twosies? There are dozens and dozens of his same south Florida fake style in the Mantle DiMaggio Willams thread going back a least a year! I'm glad Mike F is drawing attention to it as well, but this certainly isn't news if you've been paying attention to that other thread.
Myst-o-Graph wasn't even formed until April. Most of these aren't sold on eBay, because the fraudsters know they won't get away with it long there. They're sold a little more off the beaten track.

But new COAs pop up all the time. Most of the forgeries have been posted here for years.

I just found this garbage on Ebay tonight.  I began seeing these on online auctions sites a few months.  They are now beginning to show up on Ebay.

Typical ugly Mickey Mantle forgery.  This one is listed by Ebay seller grumpys*garage.  Disgusting!!!!

The seller lists this as a "1/1."  YMC Sports probably produced hundreds of these "1/1" Mantle forgeries.  What a disgusting scam!!!

Who are you to talk down on this guys item how do you know its fake, Have you seen it?

Im going to make a prediction. I bet Chris Williams is 42 years old lives in his moms basement got beat up as a child and all he has to do all day is to hate on peoples ebay auctions.

It seems to be working. The item isn't available anymore.

Let's say your prediction is correct - does that matter? We're not in grade school. Got it?

I'm going to make a prediction: you own, sell and/or forge these fakes.

I love it when people like Bryce come on here and attack me personally.  It proves it's the only way they can defend the forgeries they sell.  Case closed.

I'll make a prediction: that was either your fake Mantle or you've had one that was posted before. Secondly, I bet it wasn't you that beat anybody up.

Not hating on an auction when he post they are fake and they really are.

That's one of the obviously fake Mantles (along with Williams, DiMaggios, Muhammad Alis and others) we've seen sold by the tens of thousands or more. Many to soldiers through military exchanges.

The people who forge and knowingly sell and authenticate these forgeries are subhuman garbage and deserve to be in prison.
