Joey he asked for your ebay user name???? Want to post it or just keep making excuses

As someone who mas met Michael Stipe in person and got his autograph a few different times, this looks like a bad fake.  There are many characteristics that are totally off and wrong.  For comparison look at this guitar that was signed for the 12/12/12 relief concert.  You can see how completely different they look.  Couple that with the sellers response, and that you said they were selling it really cheap I'd stay away.  Michael Stipe is a tough autograph and anyone who has ever got him in person for real would not let one go for really cheap.

I figured as much Jerome. Any time someone reacts like that and then gives this big explanation of how they are "in the know" so the autograph must be real, i turn away. Another forgery is shown and another seller gets mad, same song over and over.

And that private feedback story reeks to high heaven of B.S. Id definetly stay away.

Samuel please post some more of this guys stuff and also his screen name or a link to his auctions. This could be very beneficial to the autograph community.

Jerome where is YOUR PROOF that your auto's are REAL?  have you toured?  been backstage with R.E.M. ever?   I have...

I think the 100% real Michael Stipe I posted from the 12/12/12 auction and the book from one of his book signings that someone else posted speaks for itself in comparison to yours.  And before you start asking for others to show proof that their autographs are real, maybe you should provide some of your own.  I don't see any exact proof of Michael Stipe signing this exact item.  All I see is a couple pictures of some FOH engineer (which may or may not even be you) posing at a concert (which may or may not even be R.E.M) which doesn't prove anything in terms of this autograph being real.

he always  signs  differently...true fans know this.

Your lying Joey, its easy to tell. Your selling forgeries. Its that simple.

If true fans know this than it would be safe to assume forgers know to.

Here is a real Michael Stipe you can use to compare. I don't think I'll waste time giving an opinion.

ummmmmm OK  :)  where is YOUR proof that that auto is  even real?

bad forgery...lol  DexTeR  of  course  knows it all right Dexter?  nothing wrong with being on the defensive when your reputation is at stake  or  someone  goes ahead and questions the authenticity of your items  without asking you first... nothing wrong with that at all...nothing wrong with being safe at all bro!  nothing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   but not all of  you are experts either!  that's a clear fact!  your not a touring professional nor I highly doubt meet these folks backstage as many times as I do on the levels that I do... I am well known in this industry Dexter...well known!   every one is entitled to their opinion...and BTW  I do NOT  sell forgery's  never have never will...

I never understood why sellers storm forums in which they are being questioned and agressively try to make themselves look as bad as possible.

Actually, the only thing in question was the signature, making that explosive response even more humorous.
