I thought Steve Sipe was supposed to clean up Global Authentics (formerly GAI)?

These highly suspect signatures are flooding eBay and they all look like they came from the same hand and I'm betting it wasn't Mariano Rivera's. They seemingly almost always have a Global COA.

Who is submitting these? Where are they coming from? Why are they always listed at a fraction of Steiner, JSA or PSA prices? Doesn't that lead one to believe the sellers know they are suspect items?

This junk is what i found just browsing this morning. Repeat this every day and week and there are hundreds -- maybe thousands -- of this style Rivera with Global COAs.

What is going on here?

Like a contagion, another infestation of this horrible Mariano Rivera fake style. Just how many thousands of these things exist?

Courtesy of GA/GAI, another rash of ghastly Mariano Rivera fakes. So ugly and amateurish... hard to fathom these fooled anyone. Yet they persist like rancid malignant lesions in bowels of the hobby.

Were these abominations submitted via freight delivery on a flatbed truck? Did that strike anyone as unusual?

The original sellers of this garbage probably never left their house.

Between the GA certed Jeter and Rivera forgeries, they probably number in the thousands.

Disgusting.

they did many thousands.. Every single name in the book.. At a discount with gai lol..

Steve knows, but call them out would be terrible, after all his worker got paid to pass the bigger names in bulks. Just call it as it is.
I just scrolled thru eBay very quickly and saw 5 of these including one certified by PSA/DNA which we discussed in another thread. Just sickening. Still better than some other stars "autographs" on eBay, Luck, Peyton, Puig, etc I would estimate 70% are fakes, and probably 35% of those are certed by GA.
