I am not positive enough to say one way or another, but it is sloppy. Here is Randy Holley' s Facebook page https://m.facebook.com/randy.holley2?_rdr and he says he is a relative and he lives in Lubbock,TX...so there you go for that info...

Thanks for the info unfortanly that doesn't really help after the bush fake mj items and such I don't really trust any seller or there story. No matter who it comes from I think the signature should speak for itself on it being good or bad

  • Oh I COMPLETELY agree, as I said the signature looks sloppy (real smeared) to me. However someone else will come along soon I am sure with their expert view. Also found this article, pre the concert (http://m.lubbockonline.com/filed-online/2014-09-29/ticket-ride-holl...) Where Randy is quoted, he does appear to really be the nephew to Buddy...however while "snooping" find no posts mentioning meeting Paul or any photos.

Looks like it might have gotten wet or something. I would keep saving and get a nicer signature.

I was thinking of offering around 700 for it if it was real since I have a few nicer ones already but no signed vinyls

That's an interesting find I think it does confirm they went and would have had little attachment to any autograph from paul

Yeah seems they don't like The Beatles music?! Shocking to me with how much The Beatles admired Buddy.

lol snooping :)  glad I'm not the only one that does that! :)

;)

I'd be interested in what a Buddy Holly expert thinks of this signed item (http://m.ebay.com/itm/321592809562?cmd=VIDESC) Demo 45 signed by Buddy...very small sample photo...

Very frustrating as I have paid R Epperson on several occasions to do a "pre-purchase" authentication on several of these items and every single one has come back bad. He is a known expert, jsa, psa, dna, ucca, etc..... I never liked how much "back story" they added to these items, signatures should stand on their own, way too much back story. There is a small group of us who watches and collects buddy items, and it pains us to see these offered by "family" members. The only COA they are offering is their word? Why wouldnt they take it to the next level? These items would fetch a far higher price if they did? Are they concerned about them? Makes you wonder, a simple piece of paper with buddy signature will fetch well over $1000 plus. Use your own best judgement, I would like to believe as would most.

Abbey road album. I don't think its real.
