I have been collecting Star Wars autographs since 1998.  Not all of my signatures are on Star Wars memorabilia.  For example, when I met Warwick Davis at a comic convention in New York City, I had him sign a Willow photograph.  I also have publicity photos of Sir Alec Guinness and Christopher Lee from the 1970s, and a Natalie Portman signed The Diary of Anne Frank theater poster from her performance on Broadway back in 1998.  My current wish list includes Peter Cushing, Terence Stamp and John Williams.  I am interested in knowing about the collections and wish lists of other members.

Thx Pete for all your sharing :)

Can you show us how you store all your autographs etc ?

For the standard 8x10 signed items I use sports card 3 ring binders, the type that has a D ring shape so that the photos stack on top of one another and do not wrap around the circular ring. I only use Ultra-Pro (archival & inert) 3 ring binder pages, in these binders

For larger items 11x14, 11x17, 12x19, 16x20 I use Itoya art/photo portfolios.

Posters and larger items are either framed or stored in tubes.

Important & higher end items, artwork or items of high value (you will have to decide what that price range is for you) goes into a high temperature, fire proof and waterproof safe.

Everything mentioned here is stored in the temperature controlled section of my home. Living in the north east, and having all 4 seasons .....there is no option of storing these pieces in the basement, garage or attic. Changes in the humidity levels and heat /cold are not good for collectibles.

Hope that helps some.

Just gotta come up an hour north.. we skipped winter this year.

Thank you for the information Pete.

Anybody got this guy on a Star Wars item? I had no idea his autograph on unrelated Star Wars would bring so much.

I remember reading that there is only one or two known Sebastian Shaw autographs on Star Wars items out there.

I've heard rumors that they exist, but ive never seen one.

For the guy who is probably only known from being in a Star Wars movie, his autograph is ridiculously high for not being on a sw related item.

The fact that the autograph is a PSA Mint 9 would command a premium but I agree that the price is still high.

The Daisy Ridley signing took place yesterday, no official information yet from the guys handling the signing or our friends that were present, but I would say keep your eyes and ears open if you wanted to pick one up. They should be hitting multiple outlets very soon.

There are quite a few Daisy Ridley autographs authenticated by PSA on ebay now.  I haven't seen the majority of them before so I'm guessing they are from this signing.

The autographs should be listed as PSA/DNA In-the-Presence authenticated.
