I recently purchased Buzz Aldrin's latest book from a 3rd party, and would like to know if this is a real Buzz Aldrin autograph or a fake?

Thanks in advance!

Looks like a pretty standard recent book signing signature.
What do you mean by pretty standard though? How else would his signature differ if it wasn't a book signing autograph? Doesn't he always sign this way?

Don't want to put words in Steve's mouth but I'm sure that means it's authentic. Just a more recent signing.

+1

Yes, his book signing signatures are typically quickly applied and not as neat as his private signing signatures on photos.

There really isn't such thing as a "neat signature" with Buzz Aldrin. He just grabs a pen and signs it. I've seen his autographs on photos, they all look the same, even the ones from way back then. But, I honestly think this ones more of the better ones in comparison of the others. The loop at the end is nicely finished, whereas other ones that I've come across overlap each other.

Then why bother posting your question if you already "know it all?"

It's not a matter of knowing it all, it's about sharing opinions, we all got one.

So first you're asking the members to opine on Buzz Aldrin's autograph and then you post a comment like you know everything about Aldrin's signature.

You contradicted yourself.

Actually, not really. Asking for an opinion, doesn't make me a know it all. If people feel skeptical about something, they ask questions, that's how it works. I was just curious about this autograph because it was one of the better ones I've come across, and wanted "other people's opinion" on it.

You contradicted yourself in this thread....

Period.

Now look who's trying to be Mr. know-it-all.
