I received mine in post today (UK), very late and I am actually not convinced this was signed by Brian May compared with the other examples I have seen online. What's your opinion on this guys?

That does look different from mine

The B looks the same but everything else (even the envelope) looks different?!?

I have several of his autographs, The B looks Similar, apart from missing the loop and he never signs with a Horizontal Line, saying that, I  have attached a photo of one where i think the pen must have run out midway through and then started working again as part of my Y was missing like yours?

Maybe the same has happened  As my copy of this card has a strange texture to them?

Does your card look like standard card or is it Textured / mottled? Mine is Textured / mottled  and yours looks different type of card to me - unless it's just because of the angle.

It's definitely textured but it doesn't look as if the pen run out during the process. This looks pretty deliberate.

I feel rather disappointed having seen so many fab examples.

Could be worse! Could be my copy of the George Washington Wilson Bookplate  - i just posted an image on my reply above - mine looks awful ! I don't even have a B

It does look awful, I agree though I think I would prefer a squiggle as opposed to a horizontal line and the X!

Hello Mike, yours is genuine but why he didn't bother to sign his full name, I don't know. That's not the usual. It's also not worth the full value for what you paid, imo. Attached is another example of Brian signing similarly, but as you can see he signed Bri as a dedication, not as his name. I've seen him sign just his first name a few times before. It's not something I'd want, personally. I'd try contacting them and asking for a replacement piece with a full signature or refund. But yours was signed by Brian. Likely while sitting down, after many before it and less attractive, admittedly.

PS: I should clarify, 40 pounds plus shipping is a good price for Brian. Fair. But not if he gave you half a siggy and signed the others in full.

Maybe you need to spend 250 pounds for the Deluxe version to guarantee a full signature. Sigh!

Thanks! I contacted the gallery and they were extremely helpful. It's such a small and dedicated team. They offered a replacement, which was beyond my expectations - a signed book! If you live in London, go and see the exhibition, it's very interesting.

That’s a nice upgrade! Glad they took care of it for you.

Hey  Mikhell, would you consider donating, trading, selling the first autog?

Think of it as paying it forward and Kudos to you! :)

I'm a huge Queen fan and I'd love a Brian May for my collection.

Thank you, but I am not interested in selling.
