The "musician- direct" subforum is a great way to acquire autographs from artists we might never meet in person, but it's also a risk because you can never be 100% certain of the authenticity.
This thread is meant to keep a record and overview of confirmed autopens and those where serious doubts have been risen. (Limited to items discussed in this subforum)
This is a start, I'm open to suggestions. If there's no interest in a thread like this I'll remove it.

Getting an official confirmation is going to be a very rare occurrence.
I know. I can look at a better wording. I meant it like confirmed by us and experts. There's no doubt in my mind that the Dolly Parton's are autopen after all the comparisons we did in her thread. This is meant as an easier way to have a quick overview of the general consensus so you know which titles to avoid.
I think this thread is a cracking idea, and a nice guide especially for new collectors who would not be aware of some artists systematically resorting to autopen sigs.
Kenny Loggins book Still Alright- I believe both BAM and B&N pulled them and refunded
There’s the Ozzy Osbourne autopen signed “Ordinary Man” CDs that were sold in 2020.
Robbie krieger, as with Alicia keys were mixed. Not all were autopenned. Half of Alicia's were real (books in general as I am not sure on premieres bookplates) Krieger seemed to be mostly autopen.. maybe 25% signed in pen (rough estimate)
Just putting that out there so people don't assume all are fake
Are the fake Robby signatures autopens? I thought they were produced some other way.
Interesting. I might look into this more later
That is even lazier than an autopen.
What I remember from Alicia, the tipped-in books were good and the bookplates from Premiere were all autopen. I'll check the thread to make sure.
There was some concern about the inscriptions possibly being secretarial. I could add some examples to the thread in the next few days.
