Don´t know enough about Hooker and SRV...but I do not like the Clapton.

My answer is: No, No and No.
Gordon, the SRV makes me real uncomfortable. He signed a LP for me back in the 80s. This signature doesn't look like the one I got from him.

Gordon,

I see you posted this over a month ago and only got a few responses. I'm going to resize the images and post them so they take less time to load and people don't have to click.

I don't know Johnny Lee Hooker, but I don't think the Clapton and Stevie Ray Vaughan are genuine, I'm sorry to say. Are they yours?

Yeah, unfortunately they are mine.  But that is okay.  My wife paid for them on her credit card and we divorced two years later, so they did not cost me a dime.  LOL!!

Well that helps, but I'm still sorry to see you got taken. Where did they come from?

They came from a now defunct store at Downtown Disney in Orlando, FL, so there is no hope of getting a refund (not that I am concerned about it anyway).  The reason I posted them is because I have thought they were suspect but was not sure.

The store in Downtown Disney World you're referring to was called Starabilias. They had one in Downtown Disneyland, too. The last time I stopped by the one in Disneyland, in 2009, I think, they were packing everything up and said they were closing and shipping it to their gallery in Las Vegas. (I think they said The Art of Music.)

Starabilias was owned by Mitch Menaker, who started Antiquities in Caesar's Palace with his wife at the time, Toby Stoffa, who still owns it.

Starabilias sold preposterous things: A CDV photograph of Lincoln and one of his sons for $35,000, signed rock star style in the field in brown felt-tip. A Churchill-signed walking stick. Cast-signed hat from the Godfather, including Brando. Marilyn Monroe-signed purse.

The Starabilias website is still up: www.starabilias.com. It's probably the only place you'll see a British Union Jack supposedly signed by the Beatles, the Who, Led Zeppelin, Cream and Donovan.

Someone has been trying for several years to sell a Hofner Bass supposedly signed by the Beatles that he bought from Starbilias, authenticated by Morales and Don Frangipani. It's currently being offered by Starmarks at $125,000:

Thoughts?

Yeah, they shut their doors around the time that the economy tanked.  Thanks for the info Steve.

Just out of curiosity, the Clapton sig is on "Forever Man" sheet music from the mid 80's.  Epperson posted a Clapton sig study a couple of years ago on AAT and he had this example as a mid 80's Clapton signature.  Now I know they are not exact and I am not at all attempting to prove authenticiy, but I thought I would throw this out for discussion.

It is hard to read-either my computer screen is not working or the signature is too light-maybe signed with silver pen or something
