Here's another Mickey Mantle forgery on a baseball found on Ebay.

This Mickey Mantle forgery (with the inscription No 7) is a typical horrific Mickey Mantle forgery.

And on a "1994 World Series" baseball.  Seriously!!!

This Mickey Mantle forgery is listed by Ebay seller Daveack.Philly.

It amazes me that you would post this without even contacting me!  This ball was part of a huge lot that a distributor had signed.  Do you have any proof that this is a forgery?  It has good provenance as Its only 1 person removed from the person who witnessed the signing.

I only just listed this ball a few hours ago and I have people accusing me of listing a fake because of you.  I have a 100% positive rating on Ebay,

First, your 100% Feedback has ZERO to do whether or not an autograph is a forgery or not.  We've seen hundreds of sellers on Ebay who have a 100% Feedback rating and sell all forgeries.  That happens because the majority of autograph buyers on Ebay know ZERO about autographs.  And that's why sellers of forgeries on Ebay make money.  They know that Ebay is full of wannabe autograph collectors.

Your Mickey Mantle is a forgery.  Typical forgery that was penned in the 1990's.  Thousands upon thousands of Mantle forgeries on baseballs have been produced over the years.

Send your Mantle to PSA or JSA and I guarantee they will reject it.

How about a challenge?  If you send it to PSA or JSA, and they authenticate it, I will pay you $2,000.00 for your Mantle baseball.  If PSA or JSA reject it, you have to pay me $250.00.

Deal?

If you pay for the authentication I will.

I have full confidence in this ball.  It comes from a distributor who has a solid history.  My seller rating is relevant as I wouldn't risk it by listing a ball that I'm not 100% sure on.

If I lose, I will pay you the $2,000.00 plus the authentication fees and shipping.

Thanks anyway, but I decided to just send the link to my lawyer.

What you have posted is a textbook case of defamation and libel.

That's nice.

this is getting to be like a broken record.

It certainly is, isn't, Terrier.

He's listing a Mantle forgery and he's contacting his lawyer.  How many times have we heard that before.

Mr. DaveAck, how about this challenge; one on a smaller scale.

Why don't you submit it to PSA's "Quick Opinion."  It will only cost you $7.49.

If the result comes back "Likely Genuine" I will send you $100.00 via PayPal.

When the result comes back "Likely Not Genuine," you must post an apology here.

Deal?  Below is the link to "Quick Opinion."

why don't you save yourself the attorney fee, and the embarrassment, and do a PSA quick opinion for 7.50?  that ball is a well documented forgery, nothing you can do or say will change that, Mr. 100% Positive feedback.

They've not defamed you, they called foul (no pun intended) on a ball with a forged Mantle.  Show us its not and the guys will apologize.  Get a quick Opinion and call it a day.

another defamation suit.
