Personally, I can just about accept the flimsy nature of the signed insert, but what crazes me is that it is slightly smaller than the standard CD insert/booklet. Why? Just make them the same size as the booklet for goodness sake! Then it can go inside the CD case and look so much better.
Too Bad you couldn't return it to me! So upset to find out the signed options are now removed from her store..tried snagging on with each restock and wasn't quick enough.
Given her current career status, I'd seriously reconsider returning a Sabrina Carpenter signed anything regardless of the quality. Especially something that was essentially a freebie with a CD purchase.
I genuinely do not think this is going to be valuable in the future. My point is the signed 'art card' - if you can call it that - is an item of very low quality. You can feel it when you hold it, and not something I am 'proud' to hold in my collection. The way this is going, we'll soon have one square inch 'signed cards' on toilet paper quality.
I get it. I'm not too keen on the art cards themselves, especially the subpar quality ones. And if you want to return it on principle, that's understandable. Not that this is about value/money, but from a monetary standpoint, if you were to sell it now it would at worst probably double or triple your money. Her last signed CD release seems to be going for more than 10x the original cost, and that was a small insert as well. Her upcoming headline tour is in arenas, so it seems she's moved into one of pop's upper tiers. Accordingly her merch is red hot.
