Very famous Saxophonist, Bill Clinton, signed bookplate. Oh yeah he was President for a while there too.

Thanks, got one! Good find.

I got one and look forward to the event! :-)

Thanking you greatly!!!  That is a really good find...  Very much going to enjoy the book and live event.

Interesting, thank you!

This is huge.. some people would sell their 1st born children for a chance to attend a Clinton event

Ah, I don't know about that. Up here in T.O., the organizers behind both the Hillary/Bill 2017(?) speakers' event and the one Bill did for "President is Missing" both struggled to fill seats. The former resulted in blocks of tickets being given away through publications like the Star a week before the event, and the publication I work for was given the opportunity to do a ticket giveaway for the former (with us getting a ticket package to use for ourselves -- wasn't that impressive in retrospect, as they didn't give you a signed book).

Maybe it was just the way the latter was promoted (the organization behind it, Deep Ocean, folded not much longer after), but the place wasn't filled, and there was a large chunk of space between sections that sat empty. Holding it in a cavernous convention hall at Toronto's Waterfront, on a Friday afternoon when traffic was bad on the roads, didn't help.

The most interesting parts of that day were the guy and his daughter I met in line who were superfans and were bragging to me about the signed Clinton books they owned (I didn't tell them I had two myself), and my date's dress, which turned heads everywhere we went.

Thanks, I was hoping they'd do something like this.

Thx for the heads up. I'm in.

Anyone know how B&N ships books? I hope they pack it well.

I have never had any challenges with B&N packaging.  Have done quite a few B&N shipments and it has always been good with no damage.  I am not concerned...

Thx. That's good news.

Great one, thanks !
