I have some very sad news to report. I'm sorry to tell you that Tony Varvel has passed away. You may know him as GraphingMLB.
Tony was a longtime member of Autograph Live and a friend of mine for years. He was always happy to give advice from his years of experience in in-person sports collecting, mostly for his collection and not to sell. He was also especially good at modern baseball authentication, and would generally help collectors who needed advice.
I will miss him a lot.
Rest in peace, Tony.

It's so very sad. He was one of the nicest, most honest guys around. I could go into a million scenarios where he helped people with graphs, but anyone who knew him, knows this already. He went above and beyond, becoming friends with anyone he usually spoke with. RIP Tony. You will be missed. :(
Extremely sad news indeed he will certainly be missed.
R.I.P. TONY From all of us Collectors in the UK!
I’m so sorry for the loss of your friend, Steve. I didn’t know Tony, but it sounds like he was a great guy. May he Rest In Peace. God Bless him.
Very sorry for you Frank. I can’t imagine what you must be going through. Tony was a good guy and my friend. I miss him too.
Condolences, Frank. Tony had many friends and will be sorely missed. Our hearts go out to you and the family.
I was just watching an old broadcast of Star Wars Autograph Universe Graphcast on YouTube when Steve Grad mentioned this. I had no idea. Very upsetting. I agree with every sentiment posted in this discussion.
